It was fireworks galore to open the new IPL season over the weekend with sixes flying into crowds all over India.
We now move into the second set of fixtures for the competing teams and it all begins with the best bets in the game tonight between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.

Think Mumbai win this one after shaking off the cobwebs.
They have too much talent and class to be losing consecutive matches to start their title defence.

The Royal Challengers and their star bowler Harshal Patel are riding the momentum of a huge two-wicket win over reigning IPL champion Mumbai when it faces the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Patel was masterful with the ball and ultimately proved the difference in the win over Mumbai by taking career best T20 figures of 5/27 off his four overs.
The Sunrisers batting line-up will need to be on its ‘A-Game’ if it is have any chance of winning this game.
David Warner was dismissed cheaply in the 10-run loss to the Kolata Knight Riders in the first fixture of the season and.
If Warner can fire then he is the one man who can lead the Sunrisers to what would be likely be deemed an upset.
Having said that, it’s hard to oppose the winning form of Bangalore.

Rajasthan Royals vs. Delhi Capitals

The Delhi Capitals are aiming to go two from two when it faces the Rajasthan Royals on Friday.
The Capitals easily chased down the 188-run target set for them by Chennai on Sunday as openers Shikhar Dhawan (85 not out) and Prithvi Shaw (72 off 38 deliveries) ensured the run chase was safe.
While the story for the Royals may not have resulted in a win, they were brave in defeat after nearly chasing down a mammoth 221-run target against the Punjab Kings XI.
Sanju Sampson was incredible with the willow as he smashed his way to 119 off 63 balls which included 12 fours and seven maximums but it was to no avail as they would ultimately go down by four runs.
Think they can bounce back with a win here if the bowlers can just tighten up early.

Kings XI Punjab vs. Chennai Super KIngs

This could quite possibly be the game of the week when the Kings XI Punjab trade blows with the Chennai Super Kings on Saturday morning.
The Kings were at their brilliant best in their first fixture of the season when they hold on to win a pulsating game against the Rajasthan Royals by four runs.
The win was set up by star opener and captain KL Rahul who belted 91 runs from 50 balls, while Mr Cool himself Chris Gayle managed 40 runs off 28 balls.
Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the bowlers for the Kings taking team best figures of 3/35 off his four overs.
The Super Kings, however, were unable to defend the 188 runs it posted against the rampaging Delhi Capitals.
The Chennai bowlers will have to produce something magical to stop the likes of Rahul and Gayle dominating.
Winning form and momentum is what we want to be with here.
