Indiana will be seeking to take full advantage of Chicago Bulls roster in the middle of a travelling slump when the pair face off on Wednesday morning at the Bankers Life Insurance Fieldhouse.
It’s been a battle for the Bulls on the road in recent times having lost four games on the bounce prior to a an upset 115-107 victory against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.
The Pacers arrested their own mini slide with a tense 139-133 overtime triumph against the San Antonio Spurs which spelled an end to its three-game losing steak.
Having already played each other twice this season, both the Pacers and the Bulls managed to knock each other off when being the visiting team.
It was the Bulls who managed the most recent victory over the Pacers with a 120-112 win in Indiana on February 16.
Zach LaVine produced a final quarter masterclass to get the Bulls over the line on that occasion with 12 of his 30 points coming in the last stanza.
No reason the Bulls cannot do it again, especially with the Pacers nervously awaiting the fitness of Domantas Sabonis.

A sore New Orleans Pelicans make their way to the State Farm Arena for a battle against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Pelicans were without star contributor Zion Williamson in the 122-115 win over the struggling Houston Rockets.
Williamson is currently taking care of a sprained right thumb which may open the door for the Hawks to swoop and grab their seventh straight home win.
The Hawks did get the better of the Pelicans last Saturday when travelling to New Orleans en route to a 126-103 victory.
Trae Young missed the win over the weekend after battling knee soreness but he will pop up in this fixture despite being well below his best in the 117-111 win over Golden State.
Young only 13 points from a 3-11 field goal tally which is well below the 25.2 point per game average we have become so accustom to.
Expect him to bounce back into point-scoring form very quickly.

Milwaukee @ Golden State

The Milwaukee Bucks seek their fourth straight success when taking on the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday afternoon.
Milwaukee defeated Sacramento on Saturday with a pulsating 129-128 win to make it three straight, while Golden State will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak after losing 117-111 to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
The recent form for the Warriors against the Bucks does not paint a pretty picture.
If we wind back to Boxing Day of 2020, the Bucks put on a clinic against the Warriors with a 138-99 thumping of Stephen Curry and his men.
Bucks big man Giannis Antetokounmpo was below his best that night with 15 points, 13 rebounds and four assists.
Those statistics would probably be a solid night out for most players; not Giannis.
A 28.8 point per game average combined with 11.4 rebounds and 6.2 assists there is hardly a player in the NBA who can match it with him and, unfortunately for the Warriors, his dominance will likely manifest itself again.

Portland @ LA Clippers

The Los Angles Clippers will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
The Clippers are 33-18 overall, 18-8 at home, and third in the Eastern Conference.
Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers are sixth in the Western Conference, 30-19 overall and 15-9 on the road.
These two teams have only played once this season, with the Clippers winning 128-105 on December 30, 2020.
Kawhi Leonard proved a pivotal force in the 23-point win last last year as he notched up 28 of his own points and seven assists.
The Trail Blazers managed to secure five wins in the last six games to themselves up for a genuine playoffs tilt.
Damian Lillard leads the team with 29.6 ppg on the season, which is second in the NBA and is sixth with a 30.2 player efficiency rating (PER).
CJ McCollum, the second-leading scorer on the team, has averaged 23.8 ppg on the season but has only played in 25 games after missing two months with an injury and him getting back to form will be integral part to winning this game.
The Clippers snapped a two-game losing streak on Sunday, with a 104-86 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday as a 10.5 point favorite.
Marcus Morris Sr, who is third on the team with 12.8 ppg this season, led the victory over the Lakers with 22 points and seven rebounds.
Leonard had a relatively strong game with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists in the 18-point win.
Despite not much separating the teams from a ladder perspective, the Clippers look to have a clear class edge over their opponent tonight.
