Wyong Farm Race 4
#6 Royal Merchant
Great card of racing for Wyong’s annual Magic Millions program!
Royal Merchant looks well placed here, dropping back sharply in grade. The Merchant Navy mare was good without winning at her latest outing and meets easier opposition. The 1200m looks ideal at this stage of her preparation, and she will be hard to toss coming off a little freshen-up.
Semana can resume in fine style. The Winning Rupert mare had an outstanding winter campaign, and her barrier trials leading into this event have been mouthwatering. The 1200m is her pet distance, and she is building an enviable career record. If the favourite has an off day, I expect her to be there to capitalise late.
Silentsar is the class runner. The gritty and tough Russian Revolution gelding boasts superior form, and his last-start win at Warwick Farm turned heads. From barrier nine, he will jump and lead the field a merry dance, and if he can cheat the clock throughout, he will look the winner as they straighten for home. An early speed barrier is the primary concern.

Wyong Farm RACE 6
#4 Spywire
Spywire has one hoof on the till. The Trapeze Artist colt looked talented when winning on debut, and he is touted as a future Group 1 winner. The 1100m is ideal second-up, and if he repeats his turn of foot he displayed fresh, they won’t get near him. One to follow moving forward!
Highness looks the danger. The Snitzel colt was good without threatening in a hot-form race at his first outing, and he scorched the turf in a recent barrier trial at Newcastle. The longer trip is advantageous, and I suspect he would have benefited from his trip to the races. With even luck in transit, I expect him to be there when the whips are cracking.
Justice Please has been absolutely hammered in early betting. The first starter caught the eye at a recent jump-out, and the significant market support tells me the Justify filly is cherry ripe for a first-up tilt. The Kris Lees-trained two-year-old should get a soft run from barrier two, and a win here could be the start of a successful campaign. Big watch!

Mornington Race 5
#3 Snappy Magnus
Snappy Magnus is over the odds. The Magnus gelding has an excellent fresh record and always performs well over 1000m. The talented six-year-old starts the next chapter of his career with the Shae Eden stable, and I suspect the camp will have him ready to fire up first-up. His form reads well for this event, and I expect him to pilot the field jumping from an ideal inside draw. Great each-way value!
Zouthur will start favourite after an impressive fresh performance at Ballarat. The Zoustar gelding narrowly missed victory, and he looks well placed to go one better on Wednesday. He strips fitter after his recent outing, and he should get the perfect cart into the race with his current racing pattern and style. His winning record is the primary concern.
Scream will have supporters after a consistent preparation to date. His last-start performance at Moonee Valley was full of merit, and he meets easier opposition here. Jamie ‘Fast’ Kah takes the ride, and with a clean start, he looks one of the likely leaders. If he can dictate the tempo throughout, he will look the winner as they run for the money.

Mornington Race 6
#4 Morryl Moral
Morryl Moral savaged the line to fill a minor placing at Ballarat last start. The Lope De Vega gelding will eat up every inch of the 1500m, and I suspect he is ready to produce a peak performance for the campaign. From barrier five, he will sit midfield with cover, and if he is presented with his run at the right time, I expect him to figure in the finish. Ready to win!
After producing a gutsy victory at Geelong at his latest outing, Fun Enuff will start a short-priced favourite. The enigmatic Rich Enuff gelding looks to have plenty of upside, and I expect him to go through his grades over the coming months. From barrier four, he can sit in the box seat, if the gaps appear as they run for the doctor, he will loom to win. This is his acid test.
Grand Touraine is must for all broader multiples and exotics. The Magnus mare is a last-start winner at Moonee Valley, and she looks well placed here. The drop back to 1500m could prove the winning difference, and I expect her to be rolling forward when the gates open. She should be rock-hard fit at this stage of her preparation, and if she can avoid an early speed duel, she may prove hard to run down.
