All the best bets in the BBL this weekend as we head into the New Year.

We head into the New Year with a huge set of BBL matches this weekend.

Our team has gone through all the best bets across the big games you need to be involved with.

adelaide strikers vs. sydney thunder

december 31st 7:15pm

The Adelaide Strikers are in desperate need of victory when they face the Sydney Thunder on New Year’s Eve.

The Strikers have has a miserable start to proceedings in the BBL with only win to their name through six fixtures, while the Thunder sit an on even 3-3 win-loss ledger.

Sydney, however, does bring in a fantastic 34-run win over Perth in its most recent match in a win that brought to a halt the Scorchers undefeated run to begin the year.

That is the type of form the the Thunder will be looking to make a habit of from now.

Bowling has been a strength of the men in green this season and the likes of Nathan McAndrew, Saqib Mahmood and Chris Green can continue to restrict opposition, it will go a long way to winning this match against a struggling Strikers outfit.

Suggested Bets:
Sydney Thunder head to head at $1.69
A. Hales top Sydney Thunder runscorer at $3.60
S. Mahmood top Sydney Thunder bowler at $3.7

Hobart hurricanes vs. brisbane heat

january 1st 4:00pm

The Hobart Hurricanes are the talk of the town when they welcome the Heat down the Apple Isle.

Ben McDermott has put his hand up as the best short-format batsman after notching up his second century in as many matches during Hobart’s demolition job of Melbourne on Wednesday night.

It was a win that elevated the Hurricanes to third on the table, but the Heat are going to prove a tough opponent after they ran last year’s BBL champions to a last-ball result.

The Heat had to succumb to a two-wicket loss in the end, but they will take great confidence in their best cricket being good enough to match with the very best in the league.

Ignoring the head to head markets here and will play around with some prop bets in the bowling and batting markets.

Suggested Bets:
Matthew Wade top Hurricanes batsman at $3.90
Nathan Ellis top Hurricanes bowler at $4

sydney sixers vs. melbourne renegades

january 1st 7:30pm

Opposite ends of the BBL table meet when the Sydney Sixers face the embattled Melbourne Renegades on New Year’s Day.

In what promised to be a big spike on their wooden spoon result last season, the Renegades have plummeted into the abyss again and matters were made worse with a horrible 85-run defeat against Hobart.

The Sydney Sixers will be licking their lips at the chance to play this out-of-form Renegades squad which is struggling to make meaningful runs or keep opposition batting orders in check.

Aaron Finch has been unable to blast any runs with the willow and without Shaun Marsh at the top of the order, it spells trouble for the Renegades.

Suggested Bets:
Sydney Sixers head to head at $1.52
J. Phillipe top Sixers batsman at $3.50

melbourne stars vs. perth scorchers

january 2nd 3:30pm

Perth Scorchers will be keen to make amends for their first defeat of the season when they play against the Melbourne Stars at the MCG on Tuesday.

The Scorchers blistered their way to a 6-0 record before being halted by the Sydney Thunder on Tuesday.

Melbourne Stars, meanwhile, comfortably defended the 207 runs they scored against Brisbane to even up the win-loss counter on their season at 3-3.

The main issue facing the Stars is their inconsistency with the bat.

If Glen Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis do not score runs, they usually do not win, but there might have been a changing of the guard in the win over the Heat.

Joe Clarke (85 runs) and Hilton Cartwright (74 runs) were both impressive with the bat and could very well be the underlying foundation the Stars need alongside Maxwell and Stoinis.

Let’s back in the Stars at head to head on their home deck.

Suggested Bets:
Melbourne Stars head to head at $2.15
