Gosford and Sale are the feature meetings this Wednesday. Find out below who our experts are expecting to take home the mid-week cash!

Gosford Race 5

#1 Castagnola

Castagnola was a brilliant last-start victor at Randwick. The So You Think gelding has made a near-perfect start to his racing career, and the inside draw puts on hoof on the till. The camp are training winners for fun at present, and he looks extremely well placed in this company. The longer trip is advantageous, and the current track conditions suit to a tee.  Hard to toss!

Hush Hush is racing well at present. The Street Boss filly broke her maiden in commanding style, and I suspect she can make it back-to-back wins with even luck in transit. The inside draw puts her into all winning conversations, and the Ciaron Maher polish must be respected. The mile may be her undoing.

I Am Wild is ready to peak. Both runs this campaign have been good without threatening, and I suspect she has been trained to the minute for her third-up assignment. The longer trips suit, and if the rain continues, she will figure in the finish. Her racing pattern, style, and overall winning record are among the primary concerns.

Suggested Bet: Castagnola @ $2.15

Gosford RACE 6

#4 Harry's Evidence

Harry’s Evidence was a dominant last-start winner at Wyong. The Harry Angel gelding oozes class, and I suspect there is plenty of improvement to come for the current campaign. He finds his pet distance on Wednesday, and his opening quote has been met with great support. The inform Adrian Adkins retains the ride, and he looks the likely leader on paper. He will give a good sight!

Classic Pocket is too consistent to dismiss. The Denman gelding was a brilliant first-up winner, and he was good without winning in a hot form race at Kembla Grange at his latest outing. An inside draw will allow him to occupy the box-seat throughout, and if he can see daylight as they run for the doctor, he can loom to win. Acid test!

Aligned caught the eyes of punters late fresh at Newcastle. The Russian Revolution gelding savaged the line from a minute back, and he put the writing on the wall for a next start victory. The drop in trip could prove decisive, and he meets easier opposition. The 61kg and carpark draw are the biggest deterrents.

Suggested Bet: Harry’s Evidence @ $3.00

Sale Race 5

#2 Keep It Real

Keep It Real got the cash second-up at Geelong. The Too Darn Hot gelding finally broke his maiden, and he showed a ton of resilience and grit late to score. He strips fitter as a result of recent racing, and current track conditions play into his favour. The Freedman yard is airborne at present, and I suspect he will jump favourite if the early money continues. The class rise is the primary concern.

Flowerdale resumes with an air of expectation. The Toronado mare had a stellar debut campaign, and I suspect she can start her campaign with a bang! The middle draw gives Ben Allen a menagerie of options in the run right, and a dominant victory here could set up a date with some ambitious autumn targets. Big watch!

Pure Silk is over the odds. The Toronardo filly got the chocolates at Werribee two starts back, and she hit the line nicely at Moe at her latest outing. She looks well weighted, and I suspect her quote will tumble into single figures if the significant nibble continues. I am unsure whether the tight-turning Sale circuit will be advantageous to her racing pattern and style.

Suggested Bet: Keep It Real @ $4.50

sale Race 7

#1 Flag Flyer

Flag Flyer got the job done in the shadows at his latest outing. The Boom Time gelding never looked likely, however, he got his nose down right on the wire. The step out in trip will suit, and the inside draw will allow him to receive a soft trip in transit. If he can get off the dulex as they cut the ribbons, I expect him to prove too strong late.

Houdini looks dangerous on the quick back-up. Both runs this campaign have been good in better contests, and he faces easier opposition on Wednesday. He finds his pet distance, and he has previously won at this stage of his campaign. The Snitzel gelding tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of a contest.

Russian Roni can run a drum at cricket score odds. The Russian Revolution gelding is racing better than it suggests in the bible, and he finds a winnable assignment here. The 3kg apprentice claim puts him into winning calculations, and the inside draw could prove fruitful. Over the odds!

Suggested Bet: Flag Flyer @ $5.00
