The Group 2 Autumn Stakes is the feature event this Saturday at Caulfield. In old Sydney town, we head to Royal Randwick for the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes. With the $2,000,000 Inglis Millenium also front and centre on the stunning card, all roads lead to the eastern suburbs!

Caulfield Race 3

#3 Guest House

Guest House is talented. The Home Affairs colt was a brilliant winner at his only career start, and he looks incredibly hard to beat in this company. A recent jump-out turned heads, and his opening quote has been smashed since acceptances. The Jamie Melham appointment is significant, and a win on Saturday would book a date with a Blue Diamond. The one to beat

Eternal Warrior can win with the right run in transit. The Extreme Warrior colt looks progressive, and he deserves his shot at black type event here. A recent barrier trial was first-class, and he has received a tsunami of money early doors. The carpark draw and the strength of his opposition are among the primary concerns.

Suggested Bet: Guest House  @ $1.95

cAULFIELD Race 4

#2 Moana Spirit

Moana Spirit has made a perfect start to her racing career. The Tagaloa Filly has turned heads at both outings, and she arrives here full of confidence. Her winning margins have been visually stunning, and she maps to get the ideal run throughout on Saturday. The McEvoy yard is flying at present, and I suspect she has a big future in front of her. Acid test!

Jacaranda will have plenty of supporters after producing an easy victory on debut.
The Home Affairs filly put her rivals to the sword a long way from home, and I suspect she entered most punters’ little black books. The big girl looks untapped, and I expect her to explode on Saturday with even luck in transit. The significant class rise is her biggest obstacle.

Suggested Bet: Moana Spirit @ $5.00

#8 Crocodile

Crocodile is over the odds.  The progressive three-year-old is a last-start winner, and I suspect any improvement or benefit from his fresh performance would see him contest the pointy end of the event. The inside draw is advantageous, and his record at the distance is near perfect. The double-figure quote has been met with great support, and he deserves his shot at this level. He can run a cheeky race at the price!

Observer resumes after producing a breakthrough spring preparation. The progressive colt claimed our oldest tradition, the Victoria Derby, and he looks poised to record a stellar autumn campaign also. His recent jump-outs have been ok without threatening, and I suspect he may need a pipe opener before being back to his best. Big watch, however, I would prefer to push the chips in later down the track.

Suggested Bet: Crocodile @ $11.00

Caulfield Race 6

#5 Oak Hill

Oak Hill was good without winning fresh. The Per Incanto gelding smashed the clock late, and he put the writing on the wall for a second-up victory. The inside draw is advantageous, and the key appointment of Damian Lane should give his supporters plenty of confidence. He has been smashed since acceptances, and this looks a winnable assignment. Ready to win!

Proved is racing better than it suggests in the bible. The Time Test mare is never far away, and she is well placed meeting the usual suspects. Craig Williams has a winning association with the talented five-year-old, and with a change of fortune, she can figure in the finish. Big watch!

Suggested Bet: Oak Hill @ $3.50

Royal Randwick Race 7

#4 Fireball

Fireball will start your race favourite in a very open edition of the Inglis Millennium. His debut win was ultra-impressive at Rosehill, and I suspect he is in for a significant debut preparation. A recent barrier trial looked ominous, and the James McDonald-Chris Waller combination should never be underestimated.  An inside draw puts one hoof on the till, and a win here could springboard him and his camp into a serious autumn campaign.

Plagiarism will have plenty of supporters after making an impressive racing debut during the spring. The Written By colt nearly pinched a Group 3 for good measure, and the form out of that event has stood up time and again. The market support early doors has been significant, and the jump-outs have been first-class. Major player!

Suggested Bet: Fireball @ $6.00

Royal Randwick Race 8

#3 Tempted

Tempted looks like one of the better bets on a tricky, competitive program. The Street Boss Filly was a class act during the spring, and her outstanding performance in the Everest is still fresh in the memory bank. Her record at the trip is near perfect, and she is undefeated first-up from a spell. She looked sharp in a recent jump-out, and I expect her to leave the barriers well into red on Saturday.

Wodeton became a bookie’s pal in 2025. The Wotton Bassett colt promised the world and delivered an atlas on several occasions. His 1200m form, however, must be taken seriously, and he has rubbed shoulders with Tentyris and Nepotism over the journey. His performance in the Golden Slipper was outstanding, and his fresh form is ultra-consistent. His ability to dodge the camera is the primary concern. Toss a coin!

Suggested Bet: Tempted @ $1.70
