Geelong and Wyong are the places to be this Wednesday! With plenty of value on offer and competitive racing expected at both venues, find out below who our experts are expecting to take home the mid-week cash!

Geelong Race 7

#11 Supernima

Supernima has one hoof on the till. The Super Seth gelding was good without winning first-up at Pakenham, and the form out of that race has stood up since. The big boy looks well placed in this company, and the early money has been significant. The step out in trip is advantageous, and his second-up record must be respected. The current track conditions suit him to a tee, and he represents great each way value. He needs to put another victory on the board.

Kagemusha will have plenty of supporters after notching up back-to-back victories. The Churchill gelding handles all conditions, and I suspect he has the fitness edge on the majority of his rivals. The distance won’t pose an issues, and the camp are training winners for fun at present. The middle gate will provide Lachlan Neindorf plenty of options, and I suspect he still has improvement to come for the campaign. The class rise is the primary concern.

Dirty Grin is over the odds. The Zacinto gelding resumes after producing several eye-catching jump outs, and a victory here wouldn’t surprise. His fresh record is honest, and he is undefeated at the track. The consistent six-year-old is building an impressive career record, and the Rhys McLeod and Nick Ryan combination must be respected. The grandstand weight is the primary concern.

Suggested Bet: Supernima @ $4.80

Geelong RACE 8

#10 Seethru

Seethru is knocking on the door. The Glass Harmonium gelding has been racing extremely well without winning, and I suspect his next victory is just around the corner. The drop-in class puts one hoof on the till, and I suspect the drop in trip could prove the winning difference. His best performances have been on top of the ground, and I expect him to be rock-hard fit after several solid outings this campaign. Hard to toss!

Leg Drive will have plenty of supporters after producing an impressive first-up victory at the track and distance. The Grunt gelding strips fitter as a result of his recent heroics, and he meets the usual suspects. The inside draw puts him into all winning conversations, and the inform Patrick Moloney sticks. His racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune.

Lethal Thoughts can run a drum at a decent quote. The So You Think gelding is racing better than it suggests in the bible, and the 3kg apprentice claim puts the big boy into the mix. The rising seven-year-old handles all conditions, and his versatility alone puts him into all broader multiples and exotics. The carpark draw and recent winning record are among the primary concerns.

Suggested Bet: Seethru @ $3.50

Wyong Race 6

#3 Lugarno

Lugarno resumes after a teasing campaign. The Rubick gelding finds a very winnable assignment fresh, and I suspect his best performance here could prove fences and panels better than the opposition. The John Thompson trained galloper should be up and about after a string of impressive barrier trials, and I expect him to be cherry ripe for a first-up tilt. Acid test!

Sisu Spirit will start race favourite for the Gai Waterhouse camp. The Trapeze Artist gelding resumes after a decent break, and the enigmatic four-year-old caught the attention of punters recently at the jump outs. His first-up record must be respected, and there has been a flood of money for him since acceptances. The allocated weight is the biggest deterrent.

Heuristic is the class runner of the field. The Street Boss gelding is edging towards his next victory, and he has been well supported early doors. The step out in trip is advantageous, and I suspect he is ready to produce a peak performance for the preparation. The Bjorn Baker combination must be respected, and Regan Bayliss is arguably in career best form. The wide alley and significant weight make his assignment a tricky one.

Suggested Bet:  Lugarno @ $6.00

Wyong Race 8

#3 Subarctic

Subarctic is ready to win. The So You Think gelding has finished on the heels of the winners all campaign, and I suspect this is his event to lose. The consistent six-year-old doesn’t win out of turn, however; he meets easier opposition. The Matthew Smith trained galloper comes in extremely well at the weights, and he has been heavily supported in most all in markets. The one to beat.

Presley drops sharply in grade. The Lope De Vega gelding has been racing well at a higher level, and he gets his chance to breakthrough for a deserved victory. The tsunami of early money tells a story, and the drop in trip could prove a training masterstroke. He tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of a contest.

Magicon is racing well without winning. The Prized Icon gelding finds his ideal conditions on Wednesday, and he seems to grow an extra leg when flying around the tight turning Wyong circuit. The longer trip is ideal at this stage of his campaign, and his opening quote disappeared quicker than last weeks’ pay. Rock-hard fit and ready to play a role as they run for the doctor.

Suggested Bet: Subarctic @ $4.20
