Caulfield Race 6

#7 Suntora

Suntora is knocking on the door. All runs this preparation have been good without threatening, and I suspect her next victory is around the corner. The Toronado mare meets easier opposition, and the longer trip looks ideal at this stage of her campaign. The form around her reads extremely well for this event, and the money trail tells a story. Hard to toss!

Oceans Above can challenge on the quick back-up. The drop in weight is advantageous, and the Ocean Park gelding looks well placed in this company. The perfect inside draw brings him into all winning conversations, and the key appointment of Craig Williams could prove decisive. Major player.

Bogues was good at Kyneton fresh without getting the chocolates. The Justify gelding will strip fitter as a result of his eye-catching performance, and he is a winner previously second-up from a spell. The tight turning circuit will suit his racing pattern and style, and he has been well supported since acceptances. He will give a good sight.

Suggested Bet: Suntora @ $3.00

Caulfield RACE 7

#7 Tempranillo

Tempranillo is racing well at present. The Autumn Sun mare was an impressive last-start winner at Kilmore, and she looks well placed to continue on her winning ways. The mile will suit third-up from a spell, and the Chris Waller polish must be respected. The progressive four-year-old possesses a powerful turn of foot, and I expect her to rise through her grades successfully over the coming months. Her racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune.

Dancing Dolly is a model of consistency. The Ace High mare narrowly missed out on recording a hatrick of victories at her latest outing, and I suspect she can bounce back here with the right run in-transit. Barrier one puts her into all winning calculations, and her record at the distance speaks volumes. I fear this event may be an afterthought.

Sirena is ready to explode. Both efforts this preparation have looked ominous, and I suspect she has been trained to the minute for her third-up assignment. The 2kg apprentice claim puts one hoof on the till, and barrier three should give her all the favours in the run. The sharp rise in class and her record at the trip are among the primary concerns.

Suggested Bet: Tempranillo @ $5.00

Canterbury Race 6

#1 Peace Centre

Peace Centre resumes with an air of expectation. The Written Tycoon gelding was undefeated last campaign, and he looks poised to strike fresh on Wednesday. The enigmatic four-year-old is building an impressive career record to date, and he is perfectly drawn for his first-up assignment. The 1100m is a perfect starting point for his preparation, and his recent jump-outs have been first-class. The one to beat!

Crepe Myrtle is flying! The Exceed And Excel mare was a dominant winner at Gosford second-up, and she deserves her shot at this level on Wednesday. She finds her pet distance, and the camp are training winners for fun at present. Her quote has been nibbled at in most all in-markets, and I expect her to be savaging the line late. The awkward barrier draw is the biggest deterrent.

Sociable is putting a solid campaign together. The Yes Yes Yes gelding bolted in at Wyong at his latest outing, and he comes to town up and about. The drop in distance could prove a winning move, and I suspect he has the fitness edge on the majority of his rivals. The horror barrier draw and the significant jump in grade are his biggest challenges.

Suggested Bet: Peace Centre @ $16.00

Canterbury Race 7

#1 Power Of The Brave

Power Of The Brave finds a winnable assignment. The Brave Smash gelding drops sharply back in grade, and the 3kg apprentice claim promotes his chances further. The form around him has stood up time and again, and I suspect he is ready to explode against easier opposition. Watch for the big boy late!

One Destiny can run a race at cricket score odds. The Super One gelding is racing better than it suggests it the bible, and he finds a more suitable assignment on Wednesday. His record at the trip is outrageous, and he comes in well under the weight scale. His recent winning record and the carpark alley are among the primary concerns.

Hydrometer caught the eyes late of punters first-up from a spell at Wyong. The Headwater gelding strips fitter as a result of his fresh performance, and the step out in trip is perfect for this stage of his campaign. Barrier three will allow him to sit closer to the speed throughout, and if he sees daylight as they run for the doctor, he can upset his more fancied and credentialed opponents. Over the odds.

Suggested Bet: Power Of The Brave @ $6.00
