NBA Playoffs Tips & Previews, 29th April

Tips, previews and all you need for the two NBA playoff games this Saturday as the Warriors and Lakers attempt to close out their series'.

It’s Game 6 of the NBA playoffs for four teams on Saturday, with the Golden State Warriors and LA Lakers looking to advance to the second round.

The BetDeluxe experts have delivered their insight and best bets for both games.

Warriors vs. KIngs

29th April 10:00am

The Golden State Warriors will have a chance to close out their series against Sacramento tomorrow with a fourth consecutive win.

After trailing 2-0 in the first two games, the Warriors have clicked into gear, culminating in a 116-123 victory in Sacramento on Thursday. The Splash Brothers came to play with Steph Curry (31) and Klay Thompson (25) leading the charge alongside Draymond Green’s 21 and Andrew Wiggins’ 20.

Kevon Looney stepped up big time on the boards with his 22 making it 56 from the past three games against the Kings.

De’Aaron Fox impressed with 24-7-9, and Domantas Sabonis put up 21 points and 10 rebounds. Still, the Kings seemingly succumb to the Warriors’ playoff experience and Wiggins’ valuable injection.

While they’re rolling in this type of form, it’s impossible to go past the Warriors at home.

Suggested Bet: Same Game Multi

  • Leg 1: Warriors to win
  • Leg 2: Over 234.5 total points
  • Leg 3: S. Curry over 29.5 points
  • Leg 4: D. Fox double-double
  • Total: $8

Lakers vs. Grizzlies

29th April 12:30PM

While we’re on the topic of advancing to the second round of the playoffs, the Lakers will have their opportunity to do so when they host the Memphis Grizzlies at Crypto.com Arena.

Leading 3-1 heading into Game 5, the Lakers could not slow down a fast-starting Grizzlies as they gave up 38 points in the opening quarter and eventually went down 116-99. Ja Morant was unstoppable with 31 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, while Desmond Bane added 33 and 10 boards.

Anthony Davis continued his red-hot form with 31 points and 19 rebounds for the Lakers, but they’ll be looking to improve upon their 25.6% shooting from beyond the arc. It was a rare off night for LeBron James, who managed just 15 points on 5-of-17 shooting and 1 of 9 from three-point land. He averages 28.8 in close-out games, a number he’ll likely get much closer to in Game 6.

The Grizzlies are certainly a more competitive team when they play smaller, but it’s hard to see them replicating that performance in LA.

Suggested Bet: Lakers to win @ $1.48
