As we dive deeper and deeper into the season, every game of NBA is only getting more important.
BetDeluxe profiles four games this Friday.
Magic vs. Jazz
10th March 11:00am
Neither the Orlando Magic nor Utah Jazz will likely feature in the playoffs this season, but they’re well-placed to battle with both ranked 13th in their respective conference.
The Magic could not stop the rampaging Bucks in their latest outing, going down 123-134. Cole Anthony was impressive off the bench with 23 points, while Paolo Banchero solidified his $1.01 price for Rookie of the Year with another 20.
The Jazz was gallant in their four-point loss to the Mavericks but ultimately suffered their fourth consecutive defeat.
Laurie Markkanen went toe-to-toe with the Luke/Kyrie combination and finished the game with 33 points and six assists. He’s currently $1.36 to take out the Most Improved Player Award with 25.3ppg.
Suggested Bet: Magic to win @ $1.60
Grizzlies vs. Warriors
10th March 11:30AM
The Memphis Grizzlies need to find form, and they need to find it fast. While a playoff berth is assured, the Grizzlies have fallen to third in the West with three straight losses.
They lost to the Lakers 112-103 on Wednesday, with Jaren Jackson Jr continuing to perform with 26 points and eight rebounds. The personal issues facing Ja Morant are the biggest concern for the Grizzlies, with the star guard missing the last two games in LA.
The Warriors welcomed Steph Curry back into the fold over the past two games but are still trying to find their rhythm with two losses. The superstar hasn’t missed a beat personally, with scores of 27 and 40.
Golden State had won five in a row before this, and there’s every chance things could click against an out-of-form Memphis.
Suggested Bet: Warriors to win @ $1.79
Bucks vs. Nets
10th March 12:00PM
Nothing can stop the Milwaukee Bucks at this stage of the season as they sit on top of the Eastern Conference, 2.5 games clear of the Celtics.
Not even a match-up with the Magic without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday could slow them down, as they ran out 134-123 winners. Brook Lopez took control on offence with 26 points, while Khris Middleton impressed with 24 points and 11 assists.
The Nets have found form over the past week, making it three straight wins with a dominant 22-point victory over Houston. Mikal Bridges (30 points) continues to shine since being traded from the Suns, while Nic Claxton doubled down with 18 points and 13 boards.
While the Nets are looking better, it’s hard to go past the Bucks in any match-up at the moment.
Suggested Bet: Nets +12.5 @ $1.92
Kings vs. Knicks
10th March 2:00PM
Another blockbuster cross-Conference clash involves the second-placed Sacramento Kings and the fifth-placed New York Knicks.
The Kings enter the match with six wins from their past seven games, including a 123-108 victory over the Pelicans on Tuesday. Kevin Huerter did the damage with 25 points, while Domantas Sabonis’ sensational season continued with a 19-point, 11-rebound and 11-assist triple-double.
The Kings will be pushed by the Knicks, however, with the New York favourites coming off their first loss in 10 games against the Hornets.
With Jalen Brunson missing for the second game in a row and Julius Randle having an off night with just 16 points, the Knicks failed to match the Hornets after nine consecutive wins.
This could well be the match of the day, and we’re only just siding with the home team as they look to cement second spot in the West.
Suggested Bet: Kings to win @ $1.55
