The best bets ahead of the Boxing Day Test at the MCG.

Will Australia seal the deal by making it 3-0?

Will England mount an unlikely fightback to keep the series alive?

The comprehensive BetDeluxe preview for the third match in the Ashes is here for the punters.

Australia vs. England

head to head

After taking a 2-0 in the Ashes, Australia looks to finish the job and retain the urn when it faces England at the MCG for the Boxing Day Test.

Even without captain Patrick Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, the host nation crushed England in Adelaide by 275 runs as the Aussie bowlers stood up powerfully without their star pace bowlers.

England was abysmal with the bat yet again and need to somehow regain confidence to compete against this rampant Australian team who can do no wrong despite the chopping and changing of its bowling line up.

Australia now actually faces a selection dilemma heading into the third test.

With Patrick Cummins set to return after his ridiculous COVID omission from the squad in Adelaide, one of Jhye Richardson or Michael Neser will make way.

Richardson might be the one to survive the chop after an impressive five-wicket performance in the second innings.

There may also be a change at the top of the Australian batting order with Marcus Harris struggling for runs and Usman Khawaja breathing down his neck to take that opening spot.

England, meanwhile, is purely at sixes and sevens with its squad.

A host of player swapping was done for the Adelaide test, but it was to little avail.

With a record crowd set for this game, the home fans at the ‘G are going to urge on Australia.

The Ashes could very well be done and dusted.

Australia will likely take a 3-0 lead and the little urn will be held down under.

Suggested Bets:
Australia head to head at $1.43
Top Australian batsman D. Warner at $3.3
Top Australian bowler P. Cummins at $3
Top England batsman D. Malan at $4.35
Top England bowler O. Robinson at $3.4
