Sydney Sixers vs. Adelaide Strikers

December 21st 7:15pm

The Sydney Sixers make another stride towards defending their BBL 10 title when they vie for victory against the Adelaide Strikers.

The defending champions made it three wins from their opening four matches of the season after chasing down the 178-run target set by the Melbourne Stars with two balls to spare.

Star batsman Josh Phillipe smacked 99 not-out off 61 deliveries as he continued to stamp himself as one of best openers in the T20 format.

The Strikers bowling attack will need to be in much better than it was against Perth after conceding 195 runs in a 10-wicket loss last Saturday.

Adelaide has the likes of Peter Siddle, Wes Agar and Rashid Khan who can all do serious damage with the ball.

The problem for the visitors comes from the overall team form.

A win against the Renegades is the only thing the Strikers have to hang their hat on.

That form is simply not good enough to challenge the Sixers on their home deck at the SCG.

Suggested Bets:
Sydney Sixers head to head at $1.62
Josh Phillipe top Sixers batsman at $3.3

melbourne renegades vs. perth scorchers

december 22nd 7:15pm

The shining light the Melbourne Renegades lit on their season is slowly dwindling away as they look to rekindle the flame against the Perth Scorchers on Wednesday night at Marvel Stadium.

After what was a positive start to the season with an opening win against Adelaide, the Renegades sit eighth on the table having lost their last two fixtures.

The changes to the Renegade squad in the off season will still take a bit of time to become cohesive, but the danger signs for another away from finals are already on the cards.

Perth, meanwhile, remains the only undefeated team in the BBL and has become a serious threat to the title once again.

The Scorchers batting line-up has been prolific through the 4-0 start to the season.

Colin Munro, Mitch Marsh and Kurtis Patterson are all making runs and will cause the Renegades bowling attack a massive headache in this game.

Suggested Bets:
Perth Scorchers head to head at $1.49
Colin Munro best Scorchers batsman at $4.5
