Moe hosts Thursday racing as track towards a mammoth weekend of Group 1 racing.
The Wizard of Odds has done the yards and found the best bets ahead of the nine-race card.
Moe Race 2
#7 Pinstriped
Enver Jusufovic might just have his hands on a very talented three-year-old gelding in the form of Pinstriped.
This juvenile unraced galloper has shown a stack of talent at the jump outs leading in his debut over 1100 metres.
He has run fast times at his jump outs without being to do a hell of a lot and showed his level when defeated Duty Dynasty – who is already a race winner – in his most spin around at Cranbourne.
Ready to run a big race and will a solid fitness base to help him deal with the wide run from the wide barrier.
Suggested Bet: Pinstriped win $2.5
Moe Race 4
#12 Robert The Puss
It was a deadset horror show for punters of Robert The Puss last start after the three-year-old gelding was horribly held up for a run last start.
He was rising from a 1406-metre Benalla debut, where he ran seventh after being restrained from a wide barrier, to a 1590-metre maiden event at Wangaratta.
Damian Lane could not get him out of a pocket into clear air and he was hemmed away on the inside of runners and with no where to go as the horses in front of fell into his lap.
He gets the golden swtich today by going from ainsie barrier last start to an outside barrier and that will ensure he is in clera air.
We are set to see what this horse really to have, but with a clean run from barrier nine we should see him hit the straight with momentum.
Suggested Bet: Robert The Puss win at $3.3
Suggested Exotic: Quinella – 5 & 12
Moe race 5
#8 Tigertiger
TigerTiger has been building up towards a peak career run which will see him break maiden status.
Trainer Rob Blacker has got him in good form heading into this race with two runner-up finishes over 2000 metres likely to hold him in good stead for this constant.
His two runs since returning from the paddock will have him phyiscally peaking for this maiden race.
Arguably would have broken the tag had he not bumped into a smart stayer called Teewaters.
He was gapped by that horse, but what was of note in that race was not only the gap between first and second but the huge space between second third.
He is clearly better than maiden grade based on the two runs he has shown to date and should be winning this race.
Suggested Bet: Tiger Tiger $5 the win an $1.90 the place
Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 4, 8, 10
Moe race 9
#7 Bella Royale
Really taken by the jump outs of Bella Royale and she opens up a deserved favourite.
She is a four-year-old mare who must be very well wound up to run towards a peak rating in BM-58 level over 1117 metres.
She was a winner first-up last preparation when breaking through for her maiden victory and that form is likely to set the market off.
The wide barrier will unlikely be a concern late in the day with the forecast rain likely to render the inside section of the completely off.
Not too sure where she ends up from the barrier, regardless, she is probably going to start an odds-on elect and is the one to chase down.
Suggested Bet: Bella Royale win $2.4
