The best bets ahead of a swashbuckling set of IPL 2021 fixtures leading us into weekend.
It all starts with the Mumbai Indians hosting David Warner and his Sunrisers Hyderabad squad.
Sunrisers Hyderabad vs. Mumbai Indians
May 5th 12:00am
Sunrisers Hyderabad will attempt to turn its so far terrible season around when it faces the reigning IPL champion Mumbai on Wednesday.
It’s been a tumultuous season for the Sunrisers with David Warner being dropped and stripped of his captaincy.
In light of that, the Sunrisers have had a terrible time of it through their first seven games having only managed to notch up one victory.
Matters have only been made worse for the Sunrisers after being thumped by Rajasthan.
A 55-run defeat dealt to the Sunrisers after they failed to chase down the 220-run target set by the Royals now sees them sitting dead last.
Mumbai, meanwhile, steadied the ship on an inconsistent start to its 2021 campaign with its second win in a row coming against the Chennai Super Kings.
It took the Indians the full 20 overs to chase down a 218-run target set by the Super Kings.
Kieron Pollard showed his brute strength with a powerful 87 runs off a mere 34 deliveries to guide the Indians to fourth place on the IPL table.
The market is still respecting the Sunrisers despite a the shock news regarding Warner but it might be the wake up call he and the Sunrisers squad need.
Suggested Bets:
Sunrisers Hyderabad head to head at $2.5
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Sunrisers Hyderabad
Leg 2: J. Bairstow 20+ runs
Leg 3: J. Bairstow to hit a six
Combined odds = $3.5
Rajasthan Royals vs. Chennai Super Kings
May 2nd 12:00am
The Chennai Super Kings will look to bounce back against the Rajasthan Royals after a shattering final-ball loss against Mumbai.
After setting a 218-run target for the Indians, Chennai failed to defend the run chase despite Sam Curran’s three wickets for 34 runs four-over effort.
A match against the Rajasthan Royals shapes as the perfect opportunity for Chennai to wrestle back top spot off the Delhi Capitals.
But Jos Buttler might be the thorn in the side of the Super Kings after a brilliant 124-run effort in the 55-run belting of the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday.
Chris Morris also had a big say in the win with a three-wicket haul.
However, this is a massive step up in class for the Royals, and, despite their winning form, expecting the Super Kings to outclass them.
Suggested Bets:
Chennai Super Kings head to head at $1.68
F. Du Plessis top runscorer for Chennai at $3.2
Royal Challengers Bangalore vs. Kings XI Punjab
May 7th 12:00am
The third-placed Royal Challengers Bangalore will be on the hunt for revenge against the Kings XI Punjab.
It was the Kings who delivered a shock loss to Bangalore on Saturday in the first of back-to-back fixtures between the two after yet another prolific display by Lokesh Rahul.
The Kings captain put on 91 runs off 57 deliveries but in an unlucky turn of events it is unlikely he will take part in this game and potentially the rest of the season due to a bout of appendicitis.
Rahul’s form has seen him score 331 runs from seven games with an average of 66.20 and a strike-rate of 136.21.
He has carried the Kings this season and his omission from this match means we are certainly siding with Bangalore.
Suggested Bets:
Royal Challengers Bangalore head to head at $1.65
