Sweden vs. Slovakia

June 18th 11:00pm

Sweden and Slovakia meet in St Petersburg after both teams recorded upset results in their opening group games.

Slovakia scored a 2-1 win over highly-touted Poland, while Sweden held Spain to a scoreless draw.

Stefan Tarkovic might have counted himself a tad lucky after his side took full advantage of a Polish team reduced to 10-men after 62 minutes.

Inter Milan centrehalf Milan Skriniar thumped home a sumptuous volley in the 67th minute after a deflected corner fell into his stride.

The Swedes, meanwhile, defended as if their lives depended on it to hold Spain and record an important point against what was suppose to be superior opposition.

Sweden and Slovakia have met on five previous occasions, Sweden winning two with the other three matches – including the last two – ending in draws.

Both teams bring in strong form lines and it is tough to go either way.

Prediction: Sweden 1 Slovakia 1

Suggested Bets:
Draw at $3.2

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Total goals scored under 2.5
Leg 2: Both teams to score (Yes)
Combined odds = $5.5

Croatia vs. Czech Republic

June 20th 2:00am

It’s a Scottish flavour when Croatia host Czech Republic at Hampden Park.

Entering the ground will put a smile on the face of the Czech’s after it opened its group phase with a 2-0 victory over Scotland.

Patrick Schick hit a double, which included one of the best ever goals in European football history to seal the deal for his nation after his 48-metre effort caught David Marshall off his line.

Croatia, though, had to settle for a 1-0 loss against England after Raheem Sterling proved the difference.

But the form Croatia showed heading into the tournament should leave coach Zlatko Dalic confident his men can bounce back.

The Matchday 1 defeat by England was only Croatia’s second loss over 90 minutes in their last 15 Euro matches (W9 D4).

Expect Luka Modric to pull the strings in the heart of midfield as Croatia look to dominate possession and time in their front half.

Prediction: Croatia 1 Czech Republic 0

Suggested Bets:
Croatia head to head at $2.25

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Croatia head to head
Leg 2: A. Rebic anytime goalscorer
Leg 3: Total goals scored under 2.5
Combined odds = $9

England vs. Scotland

June 20th 5:00am

Two of football’s oldest international teams resume hostilities at Wembley Stadium on Saturday morning when England host Scotland.

It has been a contrasting beginning to the tournament for both nations with England registering a comfortable 1-0 win over Croatia, while Scotland was left broken hearted in front of its faithful at Hampden Park after a 2-0 defeat against Czech Republic.

The nations last crossed paths back during an international tournament back in 2016 when England dealt Scotland a 3-0 defeat in the qualification stages of the 2018 World Cup.

The most recent meeting between the two was a 2-2 draw at Hampden Park as a Harry Kane strike three minutes into injury time salvaged a result for The Three Lions.

England currently has a four-game undefeated spell agains the Tartan Army and has won 10 out of its last 11 matches at the fortress that is Wembley Stadium.

Given the talent at the disposal of Gareth Southgate, expect those records to be added to  tonight.

Prediction: England 2 Scotland 0

Suggested Bets:
England to score in both halves at $2
England to win to nil at $1.72

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Both teams to score (NO)
Leg 2: H. Kane to score anytime
Leg 3: Total goals under 2.5
Combined odds = $5.25
