The brilliance and unpredictability of the playoffs continues today with four games gracing us across the USA.
It all starts when Washington Wizards look to continue their comeback quest against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Washington @ Philadelphia
June 3rd 9:00am
Washington Wizards will attempt to continue its winning ways against the Philadelphia 76ers in game five at the Wells Fargo Centre.
The Wizards finally go their playoff series on the board with a 122-114 win over the 76ers on Tuesday.
A win for the 76ers will ensure they progress through to the next phase of the playoffs but they will have to quell a rampaging Russell Westbrook.
The dynamic guard was everywhere in the seven-point game four win.
Westbrook recorded 19 points, 14 assists and 21 rebounds – yet another triple double it what has been a year full of them.
No team has ever comeback from a 3-0 series deficit, and, while the Wizards did show what they capable of, the likes of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons should prove too strong and classy.
Suggested Bet: Philadelphia 76ers -5.5 at $1.89.
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Philadelphia 76ers head to head
Leg 2: B. Beal over 29.5 points
Leg 4: Total points scored under 229.5
Combined odds = $5
Atlanta @ New York
June 3rd 9:30am
The New York Knicks host the Atlanta Hawks in game five as the home side hopes to avoid elimination on its home court.
The Hawks stole home-court advantage with a win in game one of the series and preserved that advantage by winning both games three (105-94) and four (113-96) in Atlanta.
New York is the short home favourite as it fights to play another day.
The Hawks have a commanding three to one lead in the series because Young has been the best player in this series.
While Young is most well-known for his sharpshooting and foul-drawing, he has been in complete command of the Hawks’ offence as he has made the correct reads against the Knicks’ defense throughout the series.
It has been an incredible performance thus far from Young and continuation of his 26-point average might see the Hawks cause a huge upset.
Suggested Bet: Atlanta Hawks head to head at $2
Memphis @ Utah
June 3rd 11:30am
Utah Jazz will aim to progress through playoffs when it faces Memphis in game five.
The Jazz hold fort with a commanding 3-1 lead over the Grizzlies after a 120-113 victory in game four on Tuesday.
It was that man Donovan Mitchell who pulled the strings for the 35 minutes he played.
Mitchell scored 30 points, dished up eight assists and collected two rebounds in the seven-point win.
The victory ensured the Jazz snatched back home-court advantage back after a shock loss in game one at home.
Utah nailed 50% of its three-points attempts to put on a clinic from beyond the perimeter, while the Grizzlies shot terribly from three-point range (10-35 at 28.6% conversation rate).
The Jazz are just the more efficient and well rounded team.
Suggested Bet: Utah Jazz -9.5 at $1.91
Dallas @ Los Angeles Clippers
June 3rd 12:00pm
The resurgent Los Angeles Clippers present themselves with a huge opportunity to take command of the series in a game five battle against the visiting Dallas Mavericks.
Thing looked in dire straights for the Clippers as the potential for a clean sweep was being spoken about across the airwaves.
However, now the Clippers are a solitary game away from putting Dallas on the brink of elimination.
After losing their first two games at home, they stormed back into the series with consecutive wins in Dallas to even things up.
Kawhi Leonard showed why the Clippers paid a huge sum for his services after he delivered two enormous games in Dallas to help his side back from the brink of disaster.
Leonard averaged 32.5 points, three assists and nine rebounds through games three and four.
Clippers to take pole position in the best of seven series.
Suggested Bet: Los Angeles Clippers -6.5 at $1.91
