It’s a triple-header worth of playoffs today.
The best bets come when the Lakers meet the Suns, The Trail Blazers meet the Nuggets and the Nets meet the Celtics.
Boston @ Brookyln
2nd June 9:30am
The Brooklyn Nets will be looking to close the curtains on the Boston Celtics in a potential closeout game today.
Jayson Tatum has given fans at least a little drama with the Celtics stealing Game 3 at the TD Garden.
It took a career-high 50-point playoff performance to sing the Nets’ big-three a lullaby that night.
But the numbers game came rearing its ugly head in Game 4 Sunday as the Nets roared back with a 141-126 victory.
They now lead the series 3-1 with a chance to close things out and advance to the next round.
Suggested Bet: Brooklyn Nets -12.5 at $1.90
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Brooklyn Nets -12.5
Leg 2: K. Durant over 28.5 points
Leg 4: Total points scored under 230.5
Combined odds = $5
Portland @ Denver
2nd June 11:00am
A first-round Western Conference matchup on the hardwood changes venues as we leave the Pacific Northwest to return to the Mile-High City.
The sixth-seeded Portland Trail Blazers are on the road as they take on the third-seeded Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of their best-of-seven series today.
Portland took Game 1 on the road as they earned a 123-109 win last week.
Denver bounced back to even the series with a 128-109 home win in Game 2 last Sunday.
In Portland, the teams traded victories with Denver taking Game 3 120-115 before Portland answered with a 115-95 home win in the latest contest.
The Nuggets lead the all-time regular-season series 100-87 and took two of three meetings this season, though Portland won the last matchup 132-116 at home in May.
In the postseason, the Trail Blazers have won two of the three previous series and own an 11-10 edge in head-to-head playoff wins.
This really is a line ball game and a tough split.
Nuggets should get the job done at home, but this is like splitting hairs.
Suggested Bet: Denver Nuggets -1.5 at $1.91
Los Angeles Lakers @ Phoenix
2nd June 12:00pm
The Suns host the Lakers Tuesday night in a pivotal game five as the series remains locked at two apiece.
The Suns won game one with an upset 99-90 at home, but Chris Paul suffered a shoulder injury that has clearly affected his shooting range and passing ability since then.
The Lakers bounced back with a 109-102 road win in game two to steal home-court advantage before winning 109-95 in game three at the Staples Center on Thursday.
The Suns regained the home-court advantage as they won game four on the road 100-92 while Anthony Davis suffered a groin injury that sidelined him for the second half.
This series is going to the wire, especially if Davis is expected to miss the rest of it.
Even with Paul not at his best, siding with the Suns at home.
Suggested Bet: Phoenix Suns -4.5 at $1.88
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Phoenix Suns -4.5
Leg 2: D. Booker over 25.5 points
Leg 3: Total points over 209.5
Combined odds = $4.5
