We’re greeted by a Tuesday and Wednesday double-header when the Hawks and 36ers do battle followed by the Phoenix taking on the Breakers.

Best bets for both games are in!

Adelaide 36ers @ Illawarra Hawks

May 11th 7:30pm

The Illawarra Hawks play host to the Adelaide 36ers in Wollongong tonight as both teams desperately attempt to book in its playoff spot.

The Hawks arrested a three-game slide with a 75-67 victory against the New Zealand Breakers to come into this clash with winning form.

Meanwhile, the 36ers extended its winning streak to three straight matches after an overtime blitz of the Sydney Kings.

The 36ers and Hawks last met on April 3 and it was the 36ers who came away victorious following an 82-74 scoreline in their favour.

Daniel Johnson and NBA hopeful, Josh Giddey, were enormous for the 36ers in that eight-point triumph and they will again be the foundation.

Suggested Bet: Adelaide 36ers -1.5 point spread at $1.96

New Zealand Breakers @ South East Melbourne Phoenix

May 12th 7:30pm

The South East Melbourne Phoenix aim to get into a positive win-loss ratio when it welcomes the New Zealand Breakers to the timber of John Cain Arena.

Locked at 14 wins and 14 losses, the Phoenix come into this game having suffered a 93-82 defeat against cross-town rival Melbourne United.

For the Breakers, the tough season away from home continued after they went on to lose their 18th game of the season.

They were simply outclassed by the Perth Wildcats and eventually fell 98-84.

A clash against the Phoenix in Melbourne does make matters easier for the Breakers.

This has the feeling of a statement win by the Phoenix who want lock away their spot in the playoffs.

Suggested Bet: SEM Phoenix -4.5 point spread at $1.92.

Sydney Kings @ Melbourne United

May 2nd 3:00pm

An eleven-game winning streak is on offer for league-leader Melbourne United when it faces the Sydney Kings at John Cain Arena on Sunday afternoon.

United made it 10 undefeated games in a row after sweeping aside the New Zealand Breakers on Wednesday with 90-76 victory.

Scotty Hopson proved to be one of the main scoring sources in the win with the American import adding a game-high 25 points.

The Kings, like United, are also on an undefeated run, albeit not to the heights reached by United.

Sydney has notched up four consecutive victories with the latest of those being a thrilling 79-75 overtime win against the Illawarra Hawks last weekend.

Adam Forde and his men will absolutely give themselves every hope to bring this United winning run to an end and they only have to back to March 19 to realise why.

The Kings were the last team to defeat United and did so with a 103-75 annihilation.

It’s clearly tough to tip against United at this stage of the season but the Kings’ point spread looks a nice bet.

Suggested Bet: Sydney Kings +4.5 at $1.90
