Time for more winners, punters!
LA Clippers @ Indiana
April 14th 9:30am
A sixth win in a row is on offer for the Los Angeles Clippers when it travels to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse to face the Indiana Pacers.
The Clippers have been in slashing form over the last week and topped it off with a 131-124 victory over the embattled Detroit Pistons.
The win improved the Clippers overall record to 37-18 as it sits poised in third position of the Western Conference and all but certain to gain a finals berth this season.
Indiana, too, has its own winning streak to boast having won three games on the bounce with the most recent victory being a 132-125 shootout against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
With this being the second and final game of the in season series between the teams, the Clippers have the runs on the board having accounted for the Pacers with a 129-97 thumping back in January 18.
Suggested Bet: Los Angeles Clippers to cover the -1.5 point spread at $1.91.
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: LA Clippers to cover the -1.5 point spread
Leg 2: P. George under 25.5 points
Leg 3: D. Sabonis over 8.5 rebounds
Combined odds = $5.25
Atlanta @ Toronto
April 14th 9:30am
Atlanta travel down to Florida in search of its fourth road trip victory when it faces the Toronto Raptors at the Amalie Arena.
With a 15-15 record on its travels this season, the Atalanta Hawks sit perched in fourth spot of the Eastern Conference with a 29-25 win-loss ledger.
Trae Young will likely return for this important clash after missing the win against Charlotte on Monday with a left calf complaint.
Young has averaged a team-high 25.4 points per game this year as well as a team-high 9.5 assists per game.
For the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has been an important figure this season.
Siakam has averaged 23.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game over the last 10 fixtures to prove his worth in a Raptors team who sit in 11th spot of the East.
The Raptors may have already lost to the visiting team twice this year but did so last time without the guidance of Siakam.
Suggested Bet: Toronto Raptors head to head at $1.66
la Lakers @ Charlotte
April 14th 10:00am
The 33-21 Los Angeles Lakers take their talents to the Spectrum Centre when they clash with the Charlotte Hornets.
After scoring a big 126-101 upset victory over the Brooklyn Nets, the Lakers failed to back it up against New York going down 111-96.
It was a similar story for the Hornets who get the job done over the more highly-fancied, albeit Giannis Antentokoumpo-less, Milwaukee Bucks but then were unable to defeat the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.
The Lakers have already defeated the Hornets once this year with a 116-105 victory at the Staples with LeBron James hitting 37 points.
Now, without LeBron as well as Anthony Davis, it’s going to be a battle for the Lakers to match it with a Hornets squad vying desperately for a playoffs sport with a 27-25 record.
Suggested Bet: Charlotte Hornets to cover the -0.5 point spread at $1.93
Oklahoma City @ Utah
April 14th 11:00am
The breakaway leaders of the Western Conference and a battling young team do battle when the 40-14 Utah Jazz come up against the 20-33 Oklahoma City Thunder.
Utah have been in phenomenal form this year with the most formidable home record in the league having won 24 out of 27 matches played at the Vivint Smart Home Arena.
This has all the makings of an easy kill for the Jazz given the Thunder have failed register a win in its last six fixtures.
Goodness knows how they stop the likes of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert who would be seething after dropping their 24-home game winning streak against the lowly ranked Washington Wizards.
The Jazz did only beat the Thunder by a solitary point all the way back on December 29, 2020 and that may be enough the Thunder a spirited lift during this dire run of form.
The Jazz will win, but the minus point spread looks a massive overstatement.
Suggested Bet: Oklahoma City Thunder to cover the +17.5 spread at $1.90.
Boston @ Portland
April 14th 12:00pm
The Boston Celtics will be looking for their fourth straight victory when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.
Boston won its third straight game when it defeated Denver on Monday, 105-87, while Portland lost to Miami on Sunday, 107-98.
It was fourth loss in the last six games for the Trail Blazers but they do come into this one as the marginal favourites given their solid 16-11 home record.
The Celtics have only managed to cover the spread following a spread victory three times in the last 14 games, while the Trailblazers, albeit in losing form, have been successful at covering the spread four times in the last fives games when starting as favourite.
Expecting the home team to bounce back strongly here after a disappointing display against the Heat.
Suggested Bet: Portland Trail Blazers to cover the -0.5 spread at $1.90.
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Port Trail Blazers to cover the -0.5 point spread
Leg 2: C.J McCollum over 20.5 points
Leg 3: C.J McCollum over 2.5 assists
Combined odds = $3
