#8 Whatalegacy
Whatalegacy was near perfect in his debut campaign. The King’s Legacy gelding looks well placed to continue on his winning ways, and the market has gravitated to the classy four-year-old since acceptances. The James McDonald and Bjorn Baker combination must be respected, and his recent barrier trials turned heads. Yes please!
Zale is too consistent to pot. The Denman gelding is never far away, and he finds a winnable event on Wednesday. The 1100m is in his wheelhouse, and he should be rock-hard fit after a lengthy campaign. His opening quote has been more than specked, and a win here would be a great reward for effort. He tends to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Bryant can resume a winner. He is more than capable at this level, and the Brutal gelding is a winner fresh. He finds his pet distance first-up, and his pilot is arguably in career-best form. He may need some luck getting off the dulex as they cut the ribbons. Over the odds!

#4 Good Prize
Good prize is ready to win! The Prized Icon gelding is knocking on the door, and I suspect his next victory is just around the corner. Barrier one puts one hoof on the till, and if he can see clear air as heads turn for home, he may prove hard to hold out. I suspect he has the fitness edge on his rivals, and the consistent six-year-old handles all conditions. Acid test!
Burn The Sky can run a drum at a price. The Zoustar mare was good without threatening fresh for her new camp, and the step out in trip is ideal. The yard are flying at present, and the flood of early money indicates a bold and forward performance. I’d prefer to support her case further into her campaign over more ground.
Fiftyfivechevy was an impressive winner at Gosford at his latest outing. The big boy should be rock-hard fit at this stage of his campaign, and another victory here wouldn’t surprise. The current track conditions suit, and the camp are coming off their most successful racing season. Jumping from a different suburb is the biggest obstacle.

#2 Always Enuff
Always Enuff was good without winning fresh. The Capitalist mare strips fitter as a result of recent racing, and her second-up record must be respected. The big girl is a 1000m specialist, and she has been crunched in most all-in markets. If she can handle the tight turning heath circuit, she can play a role as they run for the doctor.
Weapon Clear will make his own luck on top of a predicated blistering speed. The Shooting To Win gelding put a handy field away at his latest outing at Bendigo, and he handles all track conditions and then some! The 3kg apprentice claim could prove decisive, and the camp have a successful strike-rate when their gallopers are placed in the city. The awkward gate may decide his fate during the opening stanza.
Farcited has promised the world and delivered a donut. The Farnan gelding has elite exposed form, however; he tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of the contest. If he produces his best, it could be a times and margins demolition, and the flood of early money indicates this could be on the cards. Take on trust would be an understatement.

Caulfield Heath Race 7
#8 In'Kantosstar
In’Kantosstar is winning for fun at present. The Per Incanto gelding is ultra-progressive, and he looks well placed in this event. The lightly raced four-year-old oozes class, and the inside draw here puts him into all winning conversations. The Ciaron Maher polish will play a role, and his opening quote has been met with great support. Hard to toss!
Princeofnottingham is racing in great spirit. The Pierro gelding was a brilliant last-start winner at Ballarat, and the veteran galloper deserves his shot at this line-up on Wednesday. The 3kg apprentice claim is advantageous, and with even luck in transit, he can figure in the finish. The carpark draw is the biggest concern.
The Benchmark is racing better than it suggests in the bible. The drop in grade suits, and he finds a suitable distance. The current track conditions suit to a tee, and his opening price has been more than nibbled at. His recent winning record is the biggest deterrent.
