The unbeaten Russian Revolution filly has been destroying her kiwi rivals for fun, and she deserves her shot at this level on Saturday. Her Group and Black-Type winning form must be respected, and her versatility alone makes her a dangerous prospect. It may pay dividends to watch for any significant market support.

#7 Cosmic Crusader
Cosmic Crusader is flying at present. He was a brilliant victor first-up, and I suspect he will eat up every inch of the seven-furlong scamper. William ‘The Wizard’ Pike flys down south for the appointment, and he has been crunched in most all-in markets. The current track conditions are advantageous, and he meets the usual suspects. The visitors’ draw is his biggest obstacle.
Private Eye is watching you! The veteran galloper is always thereabouts, and his best performance here would prove decisive. His record at the track and trip is outrageous, and he handles all track conditions. His recent winning record is the primary concern.

#1 Arkansaw Kid
Arkansaw Kid showed promised first-up at Flemington. He strips fitter as a result, and he finds his ideal distance on Saturday. The soft draw is advantageous, and his pilot, Mark Zahra, could ride a broomstick to victory at present. His form on rain-affected tracks is near-perfect. and his opening quote has been more than nibbled at. Over the odds!
Recommendation is ready to win. The Shalaa gelding always runs a mighty race, and he will look the winner as they cut the ribbons. The key booking of Blake Shinn should send his key rivals a loud message, and I suspect this has been the long-range target from the astute yard. He tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of a contest.

#4 Detonator Jack
Detonator Jack looks silly price. The Jakkalberry gelding savaged the line last week from a different suburb, and he looks great value on the quick seven-day back-up. He comes in well at the weights under the race conditions, and he loves Caulfield more than Might And Power. Dismiss at your own peril!
First Chorus is flying! The Ghilbellines mare finds another winnable assignment, and I suspect she has the fitness edge on the majority of her rivals after producing a lengthy and fruitful campaign. Her wet form is consistent, and with even luck in-transit, I expect her to figure in the finish. Major player!

#3 Central Europe
Central Europe looks talented. The Frankel Colt was stiff in both career starts to date, and I suspect the camp are praying for a change in fortune. His recent barrier trials have been first-class, and I expect him to produce a breakthrough spring campaign. The James McDonald-Chris Waller combination must be respected, and the flood of early money tells a story. The real deal!
Tornado Valley is racing better than it suggests in the bible. The Too Darn Hot colt was a brilliant winner on debut on Melbourne Cup day, and his efforts at the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast were admirable. His trials leading in have looked ominous, and I suspect he will be fully wound up for a first-up tilt. Over the odds!

rOSEHILL Gardens Race 9
#3 Fully Lit
Fully Lit resumes after a lengthy break. The Hellbent gelding was racing well prior, and he finds a winnable event fresh. His exposed form is exceptional, and the inside draw puts him into all winning conversations. The camp have been ultra-patient with the five-year-old galloper, and I expect him to look the winner inside the final furlong. I fear he may be a sitting duck late!
Althoff was good without winning first-up from a spell. The Written Tycoon gelding will appreciate the longer trip, and he is a second-up winner previously. His opening quote has folded faster than superman on laundry day, and the Ciaron Maher polish must be considered. The class rise is the primary concern.
