Warwick Farm and Sandown Hillside are the places to be this Wednesday, with competitive fields and strong prize money on offer.

Warwick Farm Race 5

#5 Satono Jasmine

Satono Jasmine is winning for fun at present. The Satono Aladdin filly is chasing a hat-trick of victories, and she looks extremely well placed in this company. The mile suits, and the current track conditions are advantageous. If she is presented with her run at the right time, she can figure in the finish. Acid test!

Deep Pleasure is knocking on the door. All of these preparations have been good without a win, and I suspect her next victory is just around the corner. The apprentice claim could prove decisive, and I suspect she has the fitness edge on the majority of her rivals after a lengthy campaign. She tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of a contest.

Wootton Way is overdue for a victory. The Wooton Bassett filly never runs poorly, however; she is struggling to breakthrough. The big girl finds a winnable assignment, and she draws the cherry on Wednesday. She has been well supported since acceptances, and she finds her pet trip. The time spent out of the winner’s circle is the primary concern.

Suggested Bet: Satono Jasmine @ $3.90

Warwick Farm RACE 6

#8 Jarrito

Jarrito looks the best bet on a tough and competitive mid-week program. The I Am Invincible filly is racing well at present, and she deserves her shot at this level. The inside draw puts one hoof on the till, and the camp are training winners for fun at present. The key booking of the inform Rachel King is significant, and the flood of early money tells a story. Hard to toss!

Engine Room can win fresh. The Super Seth gelding has turned heads recently at the jump-outs, and I suspect he will be fully wound up for a first-up tilt. The 1100m is ideal for a fresh horse, and the 3kg apprentice claim could prove a training masterstroke. Her racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune.

Stormland is over the odds. The Hello Youmzain gelding strips fitter as a result of recent racing, and the 2kg apprentice claim brings him into all winning calculations. His exposed form must be respected, and he traditionally performs well at this stage of his campaign. He will be thereabouts with even luck in transit.

Suggested Bet: Jarrito @ $2.70

Sandown Hillside Race 6

#1 Princeofnottingham

Princeofnottingham can run a race at a decent quote. The Pierro gelding was a resilient last-start winner at Ballarat, and he comes into town up and about. The inside draw suits, and the 3kg apprentice claim could prove the winning difference. The camp are flying at present, and the opening double figure quote has been more than nibbled at. He will look the winner as they run for the doctor.

Natural Ruler was a brilliant winner two starts back at Sale. The Ten Sovereigns gelding was ok without threatening at his latest outing at Caulfield, and he finds a suitable assignment on Wednesday. The middle gate provides a menagerie of options in the run, and his yard has a brilliant winning strike rate in town. Hardest test to date, however; can make his presence felt late.

Komito will jump race favourite after producing an eye-catching fresh performance at Bendigo. The big boy is undefeated second-up, and he looks extremely well placed and weighted after the 3kg apprentice claim. The longer trip suits, and his opening quote has been met with great support. The middle gate helps his case, and the Ciaron Maher polish must be respected. A must for broader multiples and exotics.

Suggested Bet: Princeofnottingham @ $12.00

Sandown Hillside Race 7

#2 Bluestone

Bluestone is a model of consistency. The perfect inside draw suits, and he maps beautifully to get the run of the race throughout. The flood of early money indicates another bold and forward performance, and his record in the slop speaks volumes. His pilot could ride a broomstick to victory at present, and the yard have a knack of finding the right race for their runners. Yes please!

Nearco Frod will have plenty of supporters after a consistent campaign to date. The drop in grade is significant, and he meets easier opposition. The Craig Williams factor will play a role, and his opening quote has been more than nibbled at. The predicated heavy track gives him an advantage, and I expect him to jump the race favourite. The carpark draw is the biggest deterrent.

All So Clear scored at Pakenham at his latest outing. The inside draw will give his supporters confidence, and the 2kg apprentice claim throws his hat in the ring. The 2400m looks ideal after a lengthy and consistent campaign, and the track conditions suit to a tee. The significant class rise is the primary concern.

Suggested Bet: Bluestone  @ $5.00
