Warwick Farm and Doomben are the places to be this Wednesday, with competitive fields and strong prize money on offer.

Warwick Farm Race 5

#7 Sister Daae

Sister Daae is ready to win. Both runs this campaign have been good without scoring, and I suspect she entered most punters’ little black books after her latest outing. She strips fitter as a result of recent racing, and I am confident she has been trained to the minute for her third-up assignment. Hard to toss!

Mrs Maree is a model of consistency. The Written Tycoon mare was a brilliant last-start winner, and she meets similar opposition. The step out in trip suits, and she has been well supported early doors. The current track conditions are advantageous, and the Nash Rawiller factor must be respected. She will look the winner as they run for the doctor.

Celtic Sin can run a drum at cricket-score odds. Her recent victory at Newcastle was rock-solid, and she deserves her shot at this level on Wednesday. She will drift back from the wide gate, and if she can stay in touch with the peloton during the early stages of the event, she may prove hard to hold out late. Acid test!

Suggested Bet: Sister Daae @ $4.60

Warwick Farm RACE 6

#5 Swift Legend

Swift Legend looks hard to toss. The Dundeel gelding caught the eyes late fresh, and he has trialled exceptionally well since. The step out in trip is advantageous, and he handles all track conditions. He is a winner previously second-up, and his pilot is riding winners for fun at present. His racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune.

Dusty Bay is knocking on the door. All runs this campaign have been good without scoring, and he finds a winnable assignment. The inside draw puts him into all winning conversations, and the camp have a great winning strike-rate in town. He tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of a contest.

High Blue Sea is racing better than it suggests in the bible. Both performances this campaign have been honest, and he finds his pet distance on Wednesday. He meets similar opposition, and I expect him to explode third-up from a spell. The carpark draw and his recent winning record are among the primary concerns.

Suggested Bet: Swift Legend @ $11.00

Doomben Race 6

#5 Henman

Henman looks dangerous on the quick back-up. He was ok without threatening at his latest outing, and he is simply too classy to dismiss. His best performance here could prove fences and panels better than his rivals, and I suspect he is ready to peak. Watch for the big boy late!

Man Of The Town can resume a winner for his new stable. His recent jump-outs have been first-class, and his Doomben form most be respected. He looks well placed in this company, and the 2kg apprentice claim could prove the winning difference. In the mix!

Dracena is a first-up specialist. The Dracarys mare looks the likely leader on paper, and if she can cheat the clock throughout, she will may prove hard to run down. Her opening quote has been more than nibbled at, and the gun pilot has a winning association with the talented four-year-old.

Suggested Bet: Henman @ TBC

Doomben Race 7

#5 Ready Azz Eva

Ready Azza Eva was good without winning in a hot form race at the Sunshine Coast. The Better Than Ready gelding finds a more suitable assignment, and the key booking of champion Michael Rodd should put his rivals on notice. The longer trip suits, and the yard are in rare air at present. The car park draw is the biggest deterrent.

Go Maro has been racing well on the country and provincial circuits. The Better Than Ready gelding comes to town up and about, and he gets his chance to record a city victory. The 2kg apprentice claim could prove a training masterstroke, and his opening quote has been specked. Needs to put another victory on the board!

Empress Of Japan is edging closer to her next win. The Savabeel mare hasn’t missed a top four finish since the moon-landing, and she finds suitable conditions on Wednesday. She should be rock-hard fit after a lengthy campaign, and the 2kg apprentice claim puts her into all winning calculations. Can figure in the finish with even luck in-transit.

Suggested Bet: Ready Azza Eva @ TBC
