Kensington Race 5

#2 Surf's Up

Surf’s Up is a model of consistency. The Flying Artie filly is edging towards her next victory, and she finds a winnable assignment on Wednesday. The apprentice’s claim could prove a training masterstroke, and her opening quote has received strong support. Her racing pattern and style will always require an element of good fortune.

Deep Pleasure is running ok without threatening. The Deep Field mare will appreciate the step out in trip, and the current track conditions suit to a tee. The apprentice claim helps her case, and the inside draw brings her into all winning conversations. She will look the winner as they run for the doctor.

Cherish Me is poised to strike. Both runs this campaign have been without winning, and I suspect she has been trained to the minute for her third-up assignment. The middle gate provides multiple options in the run, and the 3kg claim could prove fruitful. Watch for her late!

Suggested Bet: Surf’s Up @ $4.50

Kensington RACE 6

#8 So Suave

So Suave was a brilliant last start winner at Warwick Farm. The Zed gelding has been calling out for the longer trip since the moon landing, and he grows a leg on rain-affected surfaces. His Victorian form prior was rock-solid, and I suspect he has the fitness edge on the majority of his rivals after a lengthy campaign. He can win again even with in-transit luck.

Pinhole is ready to peak. All runs this preparation have been good without getting the chocolates, and he finally gets out to his ideal trip. The inside draw should ensure a cozy run throughout, and his opening quote has been more than nibbled at. If he can get off the dulex as they cut the ribbons, he can loom to win. He tends to find one or two better during the fourth quarter.

Le Troisir looks dangerous on the quick back-up. The Proisir gelding meets similar opposition, and he comes in extremely well under the weight scale. The 2400m is exactly what the doctor ordered, and I expect his quote will continue to shorten if the heavens open before the barriers. In the mix!

Suggested Bet: So Suave @ $6.00

Sale Race 5

#2 Nordic Strike

Nordic Strike can resume a winner. The Anders gelding is proven fresh, and he put in some decent runs during his latest preparation. His recent jump-outs have been sensational, and I suspect he will be cherry ripe on Wednesday for a first-up tilt. He will look the winner as heads turn for home, however, the grandstand weight may play a role in the shadows.

Hollywoodboulevard has plenty of upside. The Almanzor gelding has made a near-perfect start to his racing career, and he looks well placed in this company. Barrier four is advantageous, and the camp are training winners for fun at present. The 1000m might be too sharp fresh.

Mad About Magnus will have plenty of supporters after an impressive last start victory at the track and distance. The Magnus filly oozes class, and she has upside for days. The early money has been significant, and another bold and forward performance is on the cards. The heavy track and inside draw are the biggest deterrents.

Suggested Bet: Nordic Strike @ $8.00

Sale Race 6

#2 Bronte Beach

Bronte Beach was good fresh off an extended break. The Justify mare strips fitter as a result, and she looks well placed here. The inside draw puts her into all winning calculations, and the 3kg apprentice claim puts one hoof on the till. Her record at the trip must be respected, and she looks one of the better bets on a tricky and competitive program. Acid test!

Chocolate Box looks the real deal after producing an arrogant win at Pakenham. The Deep Field mare put her rivals to the sword a long way from home, and she can continue on her winning ways with even luck in transit. The key booking of the inform Jamie Mott speaks volumes, and she has been well supported in most all-in markets. Her record on heavy tracks is the primary concern.

Princess Mess is flying at present. The Puissance de Lune mare is chasing a hat trick of victories, and she meets the usual suspects. The journey suits, and her record with her toe in the ground must be respected. She looks the likely pilot on paper, and she will look the winner as they run for the money. The 1400m might find her out late.

Suggested Bet: Bronte Beach @ $3.40
