Warwick Farm and Bendigo are the feature meetings this Wednesday. With the spring majors just around the corner, find out who our experts are expecting to take home the chocolates!

Warwick Farm Race 6

#4 Northern Eyes

Northern Eyes is a winning machine! The Zoustar gelding is chasing his fifth consecutive victory, and he looks well placed dropping back to mid-week company. From barrier seven, he can sit midfield with cover, and if he is presented with his run at the right time, I expect him to figure in the finish. Rock hard-fit!

Heman oozes class. The bog boy is Stakes placed in multiple states and traditionally performs well fresh. Barrier one is advantageous, and the Tommy Berry and Peter Snowden combination must be respected. I would prefer to promote him over further deeper into his campaign.

Ravello looks over the odds. The Savabeel gelding is ultra-consistent, and the key booking of James McDonald should give his supporters extra confidence. The recent barrier trials were ominous, and he has been well specked in early betting. Big watch!

Suggested Bet: Northern Eyes @ $6.00

Warwick Farm RACE 7

#8 Extremely Hardys

Extremely Hardys was a dominant winner on debut at Canterbury. The Extreme Choice filly showed a powerful turn of foot, and she put her rivals to the sword a long way from home. From barrier fifteen, she will ping the lids and roll forward, and if she can find the bunny uncontested, she may prove hard to run down. Looks talented!

Nostalgia was good, fresh without winning. The Zoustar mare meets a similar field and is perfectly drawn in barrier one. The drop back to 1100m plays into her favour, and I suspect she will occupy the box seat throughout. She looks progressive, and it may pay dividends to follow her moving forward.

Star Act can run a drum at a decent price. The Snitzel mare turned heads recently at the trials, and she looks poised for a first-up tilt. The useful four-year-old is a winner at the track, and the 1100m suits fresh. A must for broader multiples and exotics.

Suggested Bet: Extremely Hardys @ $2.20

Bendigo Race 6

#3 Honor Galore

Honor Galore looks perfectly placed to break through. The Spirit Of Boom mare has performed well at both starts this campaign without winning, and I suspect she is ready to peak on Wednesday. The significant drop-in class is advantageous, and staying at the 1000m trip could prove the winning difference. Hard to toss!

Harry Got Styles will have supporters after an impressive last start victory at Echuca. The Harry Angel gelding has trialled well since, and his record at the five furlongs must be respected. He will drift back and let the race unfold, and with even luck in transit, he will be storming home late. He may need the jaws of life to get of the dulex.

Hedonist was an impressive winner on debut at Swan Hill. The Headwater gelding has trialled well since his first-up heroics, and I suspect he will be cherry-ripe for a tilt at another victory. The early money indicates a bold performance, and I suspect his quote will shorten significantly before the barriers open.

Suggested Bet: Honor Galore @ $2.60

Bendigo Race 7

#8 King Neptune

King Neptune is ready to win. He looked stiff fresh, and he was agonisingly grabbed in the shadows second-up. The Ocean Park gelding will be suited dropping back to 1300m, and I suspect he is ready to produce a peak performance for the preparation. From barrier two, he should enjoy a soft run throughout, and if the gaps appear as they run for the doctor, he may prove hard to hold out.

Willmott will have supporters after a gutsy win fresh at Geelong. The Pierro gelding strips fitter after his recent outing, and he looks well placed in this company. Barrier five will allow him to roll forward, and if he can avoid an early-speed battle, he may prove hard to run down. Plenty of upside, and I suspect he is in for a fruitful and successful spring campaign.

Dry Fire was a gritty last-start winner at Tatura. The enigmatic Shooting To Win gelding deserves his shot at this level, and he has been well supported since acceptances. If he can find a spot in the running line from the awkward draw, he can present to win late. Over the odds.

Suggested Bet: King Neptune @ $4.00
