Albion Park Race 4

#2 Cantfindabettorman

Cantfindabettorman looks hard to toss in the consolation. The multiple Group 1 placegetter is ready to produce a peak performance for the campaign, and the Sweet Lou gelding should get the run of the from an inside draw. His record at the distance must be respected, and he meets easier opposition on Saturday night. The class runner who is ready to explode!

Send It has been disappointing of late. The Group 1 winner is capable of much better, and I suspect the Western Terror gelding has the fitness edge on the majority of his rivals after a lengthy spell. If he can recapture his mojo, he can fight out the finish.

Targaryen enters all winning conversations. The Big Jim gelding has been racing without luck, and his best performance over the journey would win this event in a canter. The six-year-old is highly versatile, and if he gets the right run in transit to suit, I expect him to give the long odds-on favourite a scare.

Suggested Bet: Cantfindabettorman @ $1.70

Albion Park RACE 5

#1 Nerano

Nerano is flying!  The Tintin In America gelding is chasing a hatrick of victories, and he looks poised to strike from the perfect inside draw. The longer trip is advantageous, and the six-year-old is arguably in career-best form. The expected frenetic early sectionals could be his undoing.

Swayzee has been hammered in early betting. The Rock N Roll Heaven gelding is too consistent to dismiss, although he has had his colours lowered as favourite at his previous two outings. The enigmatic five-year-old can bounce back, and if he can sit in the one-out-one-back position from the outset, he will look the winner as they run for the doctor.

Turn It Up can run well at cricket score odds. The forever young eight-year-old has been racing well without winning, and his best form reads incredibly well for this event. With an even start, he can be prominent early, and if the rail run is on offer at the top of home straight, he can add value into the broader exotics.

Suggested Bet: Nerano @ $6.00

Albion Park race 7

#8 La Sabina

La Sabina is knocking on the door! The Art Major mare never runs a bad race and looks suited to dropping back to the mile. She should be rock-hard fit at this stage of her preparation, and I suspect this event has been a long-range target from the target. Over the odds!

Not The Kingswood will start a short-priced favourite after producing a consistent preparation to date. His win two starts back was outrageous, and he was okay without threatening at his latest outing. He will always need an element of luck with his racing pattern and style.

Jilliby Jackpot is in winning form. The Western Terror gelding turned back the clock at his latest outing, and he put his rivals to the sword a long way from home. He will drift back and watch the race unfold, and if he gets the tempo to suit throughout, he will make his presence felt late.

Suggested Bet: La Sabina @ $14.00

Albion Race 8

#4 Just Believe

Just Believe has a mortgage on the trotting final! The Orlando Vici gelding has been building a picket fence next to his name, and he looks panels above his opposition here. From the front line, he will roll forward and pilot the field, and if he can dictate throughout, his rivals won’t get near him. Only bad racing manners can stop what looks like a certain victory.

Queen Elida will be there to capitalise if things don’t go to plan for the odds-on favourite. The Love You mare hasn’t put a foot wrong all preparation, and the step out in trip looks ideal at this stage of her campaign. If she can avoid an early-speed battle and find the bunny early, she may prove hard to run down.

Mufasa Metro is a must for all broader multiples and exotics. The Father Patrick gelding can sit in the box sit0 throughout, and if the leaders leave the kettle on early, he can loom to win late. He is drawn to figure. However, his recent winning record is a deterrent.

Suggested Bet: Just Believe@ $1.20
