It’s Game 6 of the semi-finals, with the Miami Heat and LA Lakers returning home and attempting to secure safe passage through to the Conference Finals.
The BetDeluxe experts take an in-depth look at both games.
Heat vs. Knicks
13th May 9:30am
The Miami Heat will get their chance to close out the series against the Knicks in front of their home fans in Florida.
Leading 3-1 ahead of Game 5, the Heat could not cap off a sensational performance in the semi-finals, going down 112-103. Jimmy Butler managed just 19 points, while Duncan Robinson had a strong night with 17 from 22 minutes off the bench.
The Knicks will be buoyed by their ability to force a Game 6, with Jalen Brunson the key as he went off for 38 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. It makes it 70 points from the past two games for the star guard.
Brunson and Julius Randle will need to replicate that performance if the Knicks are to take this to a Game 7, with Butler and his Heat teammates in a great position to progress.
Suggested Bet: Heat to win @ $1.46
Lakers vs. Warriors
13th May 12:00PM
The LA Lakers are on the verge of a Western Conference Finals appearance as they enter Game 6 against the Warriors at home and with a 3-2 lead.
They were in no position to close out the series after the Warriors caught fire with 70 points in the first half of Game 5, with Steph Curry’s 27 and Andrew Wiggins’ 25 paving the way for a 15-point Warriors victory.
The question mark around Anthony Davis’ health looks positive for the Lakers, with the star big man showing no signs of concussion following an accidental head knock from Kevon Looney. Davis missed the last seven minutes of Game 6 but will likely be cleared to play.
With Davis playing and LeBron understanding the importance of winning in front of the LA fans, expect the Lakers to end the Warriors’ 2022/23 campaign officially.
Suggested Bet: Lakers to win @ $1.69
