NBA Tuesday Tips & Previews, 7th March

Tips, previews and all you need for all four games of NBA this Tuesday.

Some of the best Eastern and Western Conference outfits take to the court this Tuesday and BetDeluxe profiles four big games.

Cavaliers vs. Celtics

7th March 11:00am

The match of the day pits the Eastern Conference rivals against each other not long after the Celtics gave up the number one seed to the Bucks.

It will be a focused Boston outfit after they fell into the second spot following losses to the Knicks (twice) and the Nets over the past week. Not even 40 points and 11 rebounds from Jayson Tatum was enough for the Celtics on Monday as they went down to the Knicks by two points in double OT.

The Cavaliers dominated the Pistons on Sunday, with 42 points in the third term helping them to a 114-90 victory. Donovan Mitchell only needed to contribute 20 points to the Cavs’ efforts, while Darius Garland added 21 in a team-oriented scoring display.

The Cavs boast the second-best home record in the East at 27-7 and should improve on it with a significant scalp in this one.

Suggested Bet: Cavaliers to win @ $1.57

Pacers vs. 76ers

7th March 11:00AM

The Indiana Pacers will be up against it when they host the 76ers, but they will be brimming with confidence after defeating the Bulls 122-125 in the first game of a back-to-back.

Tyrese Haliburton continued his impressive run of form with 29 points and 11 assists for the Pacers, while Bennedict Mathurin contributed 17 off the bench.

Haliburton and Myles Turner will need to be at their absolute best if the Pacers are to have any chance in this one, with the 76ers coming off an incredible three-point win over the Bucks and ending their 16-game winning run.

James Harden and Joel Embiid starred for the 76ers, with the former top-scoring with 38 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists. With Harden and Embiid delivering so consistently, it’s hard to see the Pacers getting close.

Suggested Bet: 76ers to win @ $1.30

Nuggets vs. Raptors

7th March 1:00PM

Can any team stop the Nuggets?

Fresh off a three-day break after defeating he Memphis Grizzlies 113-97 on Saturday, the Nuggets will enter this as firm favourites with BetDeluxe.

It was a clinical performance from the Nuggets, with Nikola Jokic dominating with an 18-point, 18-rebound and 10-assist triple double. Michael Porter Jr dropped 26 and eight rebounds, while Jamal Murray added 22 and nine assists.

The Raptors hit back against the Wizards in their latest outing, with a 109-116 OT win. Gary Trent Jr impressed off the bench with a game-high 26 points, while Fred VanVleet dropped 25 points and 10 assists.

While the Raptors have won nine of their last 12 as they attempt to sneak into playoffs, the Nuggets are playing at a different level right now.

Suggested Bet: Half-Time/Full-Time Denver Nuggets/Denver Nuggets @ $1.75

Kings vs. Pelicans

7th March 2:00PM

The Sacramento Kings will be looking to return to the winner’s stall after they lost to the Timberwolves and ended a five-game winning streak in the West.

Despite the loss, it was a scoring feast for the Kings, with Kevin Huerter (29), De’Aaron Fox (25), Domantas Sabonis (24) and Harrison Barnes (20) all recording 20+ points. Fox still leads them for scoring with 25.5ppg.

The Pelicans will be well-rested after their nine-point loss to the Warriors on Saturday. After jumping out to a 35-21 lead in the first quarter, the Pelicans gave up 87 points to 64 after that. CJ McCollum dropped 25 for the Pelicans, but it won’t be enough against the third-placed Kings.

Suggested Bet: Kings (-5.5) @ $1.90
