The Miami Heat will be looking to make it consecutive victories for the only the second time this season when it faces the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Monday morning.
A 122-95 win against the Washington Wizards improved the Miami heat to 8-14 in the Eastern Conference while the Knicks enjoyed back to back wins with its 110-99 victory over the Portland Trailblazers.
Jimmy Butler may not be at his best from a scoring point of view, after coming back from injury, but his match winning influence has slowly started to creep back in.
14 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and three steals helped the Heat on its way to victory against the Wizards in an ominous warning for the Knicks that Butler is back.
The Heat offence was prolific on the floor as well, going at 49% field goal percentage which is something the Knicks need to be wary of.
Julius Randle continues to lead the way for the Knicks as he registered yet another double double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and four assists against the Wizards.
The recent head to head history between the Knicks and Heat bodes well for the Heat.
Miami has won four of the last five clashes but it was the Knicks who got the better of the Heat in their most recent fixture just over a year ago with a 124-121 victory.
This game should be a close one but expecting the Miami Heat to begin its mid-season revival with a win here.
Suggested Bet: Miami Heat win to cover point spread of -5.5 at $1.91
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Miami Heat head to head win
Leg 2: Miami heat point spread -5.5
Leg 3: Total game points over 207.5

The Phoenix Suns are looking to make it five wins from its last six games when it plays host to the Boston Celtics on Monday morning in Phoenix.
Having bounced back with three wins in a row following three defeats in a row, the Suns were well held by the New Orleans Pelicans prior to overcoming the Detroit Pistons.
While the Boston Celtics will be out for back to back wins after an impressive 119-115 triumph over the Western Conference leaders the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Suns need to be on point defensively as it comes up against Jayson Tatum, who is in brilliant form.
Tatum proved the difference in the come from behind win against the Clippers on Saturday night with 34 points, 7 rebounds, four steals and two assists.
Veteran Chris Paul also showed no signs of age slowing him down with an impressive 20 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in tandem with Devin Brooker’s 23 points which guided the Suns to a 109-92 win over the Pistons.
The form the Suns bring into this one does not look strong on paper, compared to the Celtics win over the Clippers, but it was the Suns who defeated the Celtics last time these two played each other.
That game was all the way back in January 2020 but Boston did look a far more superior outfit back then and still could not overcome the Suns.
Suggested Bet: Phoenix head to head at $1.68
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Phoenix head to head
Leg 2: Total points scored over 214.5
Leg 3: Jayson Tatum to score over 28.5 points

Onsong and inform – the Utah Jazz welcome the Indiana Pacers to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday morning in a bid to make it 15 wins in 16 matches and certify its spot at the summit of the Western Conference.
The only loss for the Jazz in that 16 game patch was against the Denver Nuggets who do have genuine aspirations of contending for the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
Since then it has realigned the ship to win three on the bounce heading into this clash with the Pacers.
Donovan Mitchell continues to cause headaches for opposition defence as he buried 30 points and dished up five assists in the win against Charlotte on Saturday.
Mitchell, along with Bojan Bogdanavic who has averaged nearly 25 points a game in his last four fixtures, will prove a handful for this out form Pacers squad.
Having dropped four of its last five games the Pacers have looked off the boil.
An agonizing one point defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans highlighted the shortcomings of this Pacers squad.
After being down by 18 points late in the third period, the Pacers rattled home to level the scores with 3 minutes remaining but ultimately fell short.
Even if it does improve on that game and brings its best that still will not be enough to defeat this rampant Jazz outfit who continue to be the western conference benchmark with an imposing 9 wins from 12 games on the road.
Suggested Bet: Utah Jazz head to head at $1.50
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Utah Jazz to cover the point spread -5.5
Leg 2: Total points scored for game under 224.5
Leg 3: Donovan Mitchell over 24.5 points scored
