It's Christmas weekend and a big week of NFL football is waiting under the tree. BetDeluxe looks at four crucial games to find who will be the big performers.

A host of big games line the card for this week’s NFL games

BetDeluxe gives you all the information you need to know.

NY Jets vs. Jacksonville

23rd December 12:15pm

New York has come back to earth after a brief flurry and desperately needs a win to make the playoffs. Their Quarterback position has been chief among their concerns, with neither Mike White nor Zach Wilson setting the world on fire. Wilson will be the starter in this one, and if he can hit up Garrett Wilson early and build his confidence to limit interceptions, the Jets are a chance.

Jacksonville is creeping into prime time and is earning it with some impressive performances this season. Trevor Lawrence is coming into his own as a Quarterback, combining beautifully with Zay Jones. He has some solid protection from his offensive line, which a tight Jets defense will test. Look for Lawrence to guide the Jags to another win and another step toward a possible playoff berth.

Suggested Bet – Same game multi
Leg 1: Jaguars +1.5
Leg 2: Total score over 38.5
Leg 3: T. Lawrence 2+ passing touchdowns
Leg 4: Z. Jones score anytime
Total: $7

Dallas vs. Philadelphia

25th December 8:25am

The NFC East rivals come together once again with plenty on the line. Dallas has been frustratingly inconsistent this season and has its backs against the wall after last week’s loss to the Jaguars. Dak Prescott is playing below his best, while the once highly-rated Dallas defense has let too much get through.

This week, they will have a welcome reprieve with Jalen Hurts set to miss through injury. The MVP favourite has been a standout for the Eagles this year, and not having him as Quarterback makes them a drastically different team. Look for Miles Sanders to have a more significant role in the running game, but he will have to put aside the bad memories of last week’s crucial fumble if he is to play a starring role here.

Dallas is the favourite in this one, but the smart bet might be the Eagles at the line. Hurts is their most important player, but they didn’t get to a 13-1 record because of just one player and will be determined to send a message to their rivals.

Suggested Bet: Eagles +3.5 at $2.06

Arizona vs. Tampa Bay

26th December 12:20pm

The sharks are circling again to question Tom Brady after a couple of poor weeks, and he has plenty to play for as the Buccaneers fade from prominence. While he might have lost an edge physically, he is still mentally one of the toughest players ever to play the game and can bounce back here. What he needs more than anything else is protection from the offensive line, which will have a lot on its hands with the Cardinal’s defense, particularly J.J. Watt, who will be licking his lips.

The key difference here is Tampa Bay is still firmly in playoff contention thanks to being part of a low-performing NFC South, while Arizona is officially out of the playoffs. Compounding their woes is the season-ending injury to Kyler Murray. Colt McCoy has served as a reliable backup, but you can’t in good conscience expect him to outdo Tom Brady no matter the circumstances.

Suggested Bet: Bucs to win at $1.47

LA Chargers vs. Indianapolis

27th December 12:20pm

A frustrating season for Indianapolis has gone to a new level in the past two weeks thanks to a pounding from Dallas and a history-making comeback win from Minnesota. The Colts had rallied a little under Jeff Saturday but are absolutely shot after those two games and won’t have much left in the tank. Matt Ryan is a shadow of his former self and will step aside to give the Quarterback keys to Nick Foles while Jonathan Taylor is out once again through injury, leaving very little to get excited about on offense.

The Chargers, meanwhile, are humming after two big wins in recent weeks. Justin Herbert is playing as well as any Quarterback, carrying his team to a win over Tennessee last week, with Mike Williams serving as a timely reminder of his talents at a crucial time. The Chargers need a more accountable performance from their defense, but they won’t have too many concerns on their hands as LA cruises through with a third successive win.

Suggested Bet: LA Chargers to win at $1.47
