Some of the best teams in the NFL are set to be challenged in some blockbuster clashes in Week 10.
BetDeluxe looks at four of the week’s key games to find the trends and form ahead of a massive week of football.
Green Bay vs Tennessee
18th November 12:15pm
Green Bay might have been read its last rites, but that could have been a little premature going by the overtime win over Dallas last week. Aaron Rodgers played his best game of the season and finally looked comfortable with the weapons at his disposal.
Christian Watson had a breakout game with two touchdowns and could be set for bigger things in the second half of the season.
The Titans have won six of their last seven games and look threatening in a lacklustre AFC South. Ryan Tannehill’s return cancelled a relatively quiet Derrick Henry performance, while its pass rush has found a spark and could cause some problems for Rodgers if he has a slow start.
Suggested Bet – Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: D. Henry 55+ rushing yards
Leg 2: C. Watson to score a touchdown
Leg 3: Total points under 41.5
Leg 4: Titans +3.5
Total: $13.00
Minnesota vs. Dallas
21st November 8:25am
No longer under the radar, the Vikes are the real deal after seeing off Buffalo last week.
Justin Jefferson was a human highlight reel in the win, racking up 193 receiving yards, while Dalvin Cook did as he pleased in the backfield.
Their defense stood up to one of the biggest tests possible by shutting down Josh Allen and the Bills and will be chomping at the bit to get at a Dallas team rattled by a surprise loss to the Packers.
The Cowboys were disappointing on all fronts, with defensive star Micah Parsons having close to no influence while conceding 207 rushing yards which is a massive concern when Cook is next on your dance card.
Suggested Bet: Vikings win at $1.98
LA Chargers vs. Kansas City
21st November 12:20pm
LA’s much-heralded defense faded considerably against San Francisco last week and cannot afford to give as much freedom to a Chiefs team with Pat Mahomes nearing his best form. They have some injuries in D and it is an area that could easily be exposed by the Chiefs QB as well as his favourite target Travis Kelce who has had a few picnics this year. Throw in Kadarius Toney who has slotted in seamlessly to the Kansas City offence and the talk is growing that they may return to the Superbowl.
The Chargers need a bit more in the run game from Austin Ekeler who has had a few too many quiet games of late and won’t have an easy time of it against a strong Chiefs defense led by Chris Jones who is generating some buzz in defensive player of the year calculations.
Suggested Bet: Same game multi
Leg 1: Chiefs score over 2.5 touchdowns
Leg 2: Chiefs lead at end of each quarter
Leg 3: Chargers have a scoreless quarter
Leg 4: Chiefs win race to 10 points
Total: $3.60
Arizona vs San Francisco
22nd November 12:15pm
Arizona has been both disappointing but also thereabouts for much of the season and goes into this week having won four games but none of them consecutively. They saw off the Rams last week, even without Kyler Murray, who remains a day-to-day prospect. If he can make it back to this one, the Cards will have a decent shot at winning, as long as Murray can find DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore, who both did plenty of damage to LA last week.
It’s a different story against the number one ranked 49ers defense that barely gives an inch to its opponents. Nick Bosa is in stellar form for the Niners and could cause havoc if Arizona can’t get their rhythm going. San Francisco hasn’t fully clicked on offense either, but one of up to five skill position players could get off the chain on their day. Expect Deebo Samuel to be the main man leading the way there.
Suggested Bet: Arizona/San Francisco half-time/full-time at $5
