A Central Division showdown ensures when the Cleveland Cavaliers get set to do battle with the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday morning.

These teams have had contrasting seasons with the Cavaliers playoff-bound and the Pacers well off the pace in the Eastern Conference.

A clean sweep on the season is on offer for the Cavaliers as they carry in a 3-0 season-winning record over the Pacers and it looks as though it might very well be a fait accompli given the way Indiana has played in its last two games.

The Pacers have been pushed aside by Detroit and Washington, while Cleveland comes in off a strong win against Toronto.

Furthermore, the Cavaliers have found their shooting touch and the Pacers’ defense is a huge area of weakness.

Cleveland has averaged 110 points in their last four games and we expect that number to bump up after a big win in this match.

Suggested Bet: Cleveland Cavaliers -4.5 at $1.91

phoenix @ orlando

march 9th 11:00am

Phoenix and Orlando meet for the second time this season as the Suns make the road trip over to the Amway Center.

Different motivations for both teams will be at the forefront of this clash with the Suns looking to solidify their championship credentials, while the Magic look to restore lost pride on what has been a losing season.

The Suns are a dominant team, however, it can be difficult for the team to be motivated in games against basement teams such as the Magic.

Phoenix is playing without Chris Paul and leading scorer Devin Booker also remains out of action.

The huge omissons represent a chance for the Magic to make good of their solid form of late.

They have registered a 3-2 record in their last five games and have won two out of their last three home bouts.

Expecting this to be a close contest, with the injuries to Booker and Paul really hurting the Suns.

Suggested Bet: Orlando Magic +7.5 at $1.91

new orleans @ memphis

march 9th 11:30am

The New Orleans Pelicans will venture over to Memphis as they prepare to battle the Grizzlies in an attempt to inch closer to a play-in game spot.

Every game from this point on has serious implications for New Orleans’ playoff chances, and they cannot afford to take any nights off at this point. Unfortunately, dropping a hard-fought road game against the Denver Nuggets did them no favours.

However, the addition of C.J. McCollum is huge, and we cannot understate his immediate value to this team and they try to quell the Ja Morant-led Grizzlies.

Morant has gone nuclear this season and his numbers suggest a possible MVP play is on the cards.

While the Grizzlies are favoured to win this game, and rightfully so, the Pelicans have been playing some strong basketball.

Since February 1st, they have been one of the better defensive teams in the league and they can trouble the Grizzlies here.

Suggested Bet: New Orleans Pelicans +5.5 at $1.91

la clippers @ golden state

march 9th 2:00pm

With no time to think about its loss to Denver, the Golden State Warriors return home to the Chase Center in a bid to reverse a five-game losing slide.

The Warriors will face the Clippers in this contest and will be trying to gain some confidence from their 2-1 winning record over their opponents in the season.

Draymond Green’s absence has highlighted some serious defensive deficiencies in this Warriors line up and the Clippers will be looking to exploit this wobbly Warriors defence.

The Warriors were without Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins in the loss to Denver, so there is a some faith that those three coming back into the team will definitely help the cause.

The Clippers, for all their bravery and resilience without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, looked battle weary in a loss to the Knicks on Monday.

The inclusions for the Warriors are huge and it should be enough to get them over the line.

Suggested Bet: Golden State Warriors -6.5 at $1.90
