She was resuming after a few months away from the races last start and attempted to lead the field up at this very track and distance, but just ran out of conditioning late in the race.

The favourite is probably going to be a better horse, but Strawberry Swing gets the advantage on the speed map and looks to be a sharper horse.

Centrefield is racing in sensational form at the moment.
He loves doing his racing at Port Lincoln with nine starts at the track for five wins.
This is clearly a target race of his on Cup day after using the 1000-metre platform to bounce into this.
She won really well last start after showing plenty of early dash and being too zippy for her rivals.
Stepping up to 1200 metres will be of no concern given her strong base of fitness and she is going to control the lead.

Dexter You Devil rarely runs a bad race at Port Lincoln and this looks like it will be no exception.
He is the current favourite for the Port Lincoln Cup and with good reason.
He comes out of some pretty strong open-grade races when comparing them to this level of racing.
Forget his last start effort when tailed off behind Wyclif and focus on his run two starts back at Strathablyn.
That run, on ratings, would render a near moral to win this race.
The 62kgs will not be of too much concern because he is tough and fully fit.

Siding with Amani Farasi to take out the last on the program.
Gun hoop Anna Jordsjo takes the ride, which is a very positive lead.
She is a very good front-running jockey and it gives us the confidence she will be pushing this forward to offset the wide barrier.
Last start, this horse was clearly just there for a run after being hooked back to last and being asked to run on strongly.
It was a massive effort considering the circumstances and if Jordsjo can find a spot in the leading quartet without spending too much energy, this mare will be going very close.
