A huge feature day for Tasmanian racing is upon us with the running of the Launceston Cup on Wednesday.
The BetDeluxe racing gurus are licking their lips at the prospect of having a punt down in the Apple Isle.
Victorian raiders look to have a stranglehold on some of the main races, but we are backing a local hope to take home the Cup!

#6 summer fire
Taking a set against the two favourites here and having an each-way peanut on Summer Fire.
Adam Trinder is a star trainer and has a knack of getting his horses to find a few extra lengths in target races.
This 3YO Classic event looks to set up well for this three-year-old filly who has a very solid platform of form at 1200 metres.
There is a definitely a query on the strength of Emily over 1200 metres, and if she can navigate her way around that filly, Summer Fire could nab Turk Warrior who has to lug 60kgs.
Suggested Bet: Summer Fire each-way at $10 the win and $2.80 the place.
Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 1, 6, 7
Launceston race 7
#8 ayahuasca
Ayahuasca brings in the Yonce form line which looks very strong in this race.
The four-year-old mare ran up to beat Yonce at Caulfield last start, but might have just run of fitness as she peaked on her run in the last 50 metres of her resuming run over 1400 metres.
She will clearly take a stack of benefit from that run and draws the perfect barrier to take a lovely sit in behind the leaders.
She possesses a very nice turn of foot and the race she comes out of rates well for this event.
Expecting her to go on with it here and mark the first win of her campaign as she goes onto bigger and better things.
Suggested Bet: Ayahuasca win at $3.10

#8 the risk factor
Victorian-based stayers Ho Ho Khan and In A Twinkling bring over what has, so far, been the superior staying form to these Cup races in Tasmania.
But local hope The Risk Factor is every chance to knock both of them off here.
Ho Ho Khan has copped the wrath of the handicapper and will have to carry 61kgs, while In A Twinkling look flat to the boards last start.
The up and coming stayer of this field is the Adam Trinder-trained galloper who gets in on the minimum.
He won with a leg in the air in open grade last start and powered through the line like a horse that is going to appreciate this rise in distance to 2400 metres.
Troy Baker should be able to grace him with a charmed run in behind the leaders from barrier three and leave plenty of energy for the run home to the finish post.
Suggested Bet: The Risk Factor win at $3.8
Launceston race 9
#3 Justacanta
Justacanta was massive in defeat last start and will be fitter again for this run after a gap between his last runs.
He ran around in the Listed Thomas Lyons Stakes over 1400 metres in what was his first run in a month and made up huge ground to run third.
A slight lack of race fitness and having to loop the field took its tool late in the race as he struggled to maintain his sprint in the last 50 metres.
Stepping up to the mile and drawing a middle barrier for this event should see him settle much closer in the run.
This time he is every chance to reel in the leaders and not have to exude as much petrol as he did in the middle and latter stages of his last start.
Suggested Bet: Justacanta win at $2.90
Suggested Exotic: Quinella 2 & 3
