After the Thanksgiving break, the NBA returns with a huge 12 game Saturday slate.
The BetDeluxe team has examined the slate and picked out their best bets.
Let’s shoot some hoops and pick some winners!
Phoenix @ New York
November 27th 11:00am
Bing Bong! The Knicks are hosting reigning Western Conference Champions, the Phoenix Suns, at Madison Square Garden.
The Suns are scorching hot at the moment, riding a 14 game win streak.
As for the Knicks, a fortnight of benchings for the starters looks to be over after an inspiring performance against the Lakers.
Hard to see the Suns drop this one, particularly with the injuries to Rose, Robinson and GIbson – all of whom have been big contributors this season.
Suggested Bets: Phoenix Suns -2.5 at $1.89
Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: J. Randle over 8.5 rebounds
Leg 2. D. Ayton over 9.5 rebounds
Leg 3: Total points under 221.5 points
Leg 4: Suns win
Combined Odds: $5.25
Minnesota @ Charlotte
November 27th 11:00am
Minnesota, winners of five in a row, face the Hornets in Charlotte.
Buzz City have been League Pass darlings all season, led by the maestro LaMelo Ball and the ever-improving Miles Bridges.
At the same time, the Timberwolves are in a rich vein of form, due largely to the complete play of Anthony Edwards.
Both squads have been scoring in bunches and we’re hoping the Timberwolves can continue their form and become relevant again for the first time since Garnett so we’re going the overs.
Suggested Bet: Total points over 222.5
atlanta @ memphis
november 27th 12:00pm
Two of the most exciting young teams in the league face off when the Hawks face Ja Morant and the Grizzlies.
Neither team has had the season they would have wanted, or expected so far, with both squads hanging around the .500 mark.
That being said, the Hawks have caught flight recently and are in the midst of a six-game win streak, albeit against some underwhelming opponents.
The Grizz just can’t put a consistent week together despite a relatively clean slate of injuries. Impressive wins against the Warriors and Jazz are just as confusing as recent losses to Toronto and New Orleans.
Despite the rich vein of form, Atlanta is still only 2-8 away from home, so that plus the Memphis ability to lift for big games gives the Grizz the edge.
Suggested Bet: Memphis -1 at $1.9
PORTLAND @ GOLDEN STATE
november 27th 2:00pm
MVP favourite Steph Curry welcomes Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers to San Francisco.
Curry’s Warriors come into the game proudly boasting the league’s best record and defense. They’ve won their last five and nine of their last ten.
On the other side of the ledger are the Portland Trail Blazers, winners of four of their last five. The issue for the Blazers has mostly been their play away from home, most recently losing embarrassingly to the lowly Sacramento Kings.
This game will likely come down to the exciting point guard battle between two of the best to ever do it. Unfortunately for the pride of Oregon, Lillard just has not been up to Curry’s standards this year.
The line started a very generous +6.5 for the Blazers but they’ve only covered once this season when playing away.
Suggested Bet: Golden State Warriors -6.5 at $1.91
