What a huge line up of fixtures the NBA has for Thursday.
The BetDeluxe team has gone through all the big games for the best bets and we begin with what is set to be a cracking contest between Charlotte and Washington.
Josh Giddey is also in action for Oklahoma as the team come against the Houston Rockets.
Washington @ Charlotte
November 18th 11:00am
Charlotte hosts Washington at Spectrum Center in what is the first of two clashes between the teams over a four-day period.
Holding down top spot in the East is what the Wizards set out to achieve against the Hornets who currently sit eighth in the East.
It is still not known whether star guard Bradley Beal will line up for Washington after missing the 105-100 win against the struggling Pelicans.
Spencer Dinwiddie will likely be called upon again to fill the void if Beal does miss and his form suggests he can do so after an impressive display against the Pelicans saw him net 27 points to go with nine assists and seven rebounds.
If Beal plays, the Wizards should win, if not Hornets to cover the spread is the way to go.
Suggested Bet:
Washington head to head at $2.09 (If Beal plays)
Charlotte Hornets -2.5 at $1.92 (If Beal does not play)
Indiana @ Detroit
November 18th 11:00am
It’s a big Central Division clash when Indiana travels to the Motor City to face Detroit at Little Caesars Arena.
With the Pacers sitting 13th in the Eastern Conference and the Pistons 14th, a win for either team would set the path to rebooting the early losing record of their respective seasons.
We all know the Pistons are in rebuild mode and it was exciting to see what Cade Cunningham had to offer in the loss against Sacramento.
The number one pick of the 2021 NBA draft stamped his authority as the marquee player of the Pistons franchise with 25 points as well as eight rebounds and assists despite the heavy to the Kings.
The Pacers will want to elevate their shooting from the field after going down 92-84 to the Knicks and only managing to hit 37% of their shots.
Pistons at the line might be the way to go here, especially if they can start faster than they did against the Kings.
Suggested Bet: Detroit Pistons +5.5 at $1.92
LA Lakers @ Milwaukee
november 18th 11:30am
Los Angeles Lakers take to the road for the first time in five games when it faces NBA champion Milwaukee at Fiserv Forum.
The Lakers, who will be without Lebron James again, currently sit at 8-7 in what has been a somewhat disappointing start to the year given the ‘easy’ nature of its fixture as well a host of high-profile recruits being added to the squad.
The Bucks, too, have also struggled to deal with injuries and sit 11th in the East and come into this game after being thrashed by Atlanta.
Not sure why the Lakers have come up such long odds in this game.
Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony and Anthony Davis all have it within themselves to get the Lakers over the line in this game.
Suggested Bet: Los Angeles Lakers head to head at $3.73
houston @ oklahoma
november 18th 12:00pm
Our Aussie star Josh Giddey is in action again for Oklahoma City Thunder, this time against the Houston Rockets.
Giddey and his Thunder constituents have been competitive, but ultimately outclassed by the big boys in the last two fixtures against the Nets and Heat, but it is nothing to be ashamed about given the inexperienced nature of their squad.
Houston, meanwhile, is in a similar mould from a rebuild perspective, but has only managed to win a solitary game this season and currently sits last in the Western Conference.
The Rockets looked horrible in their first of four trips on the road as they were belted by Memphis and a trip to Oklahoma is not as easy as many first though before the season began.
Suggested Bet: Oklahoma City -3.5 at $1.92
