Bendigo hosts the midweek meeting in Victoria with an eight-race program.
The crew of experts at BetDeluxe have gone through the main races and found the best bets on a competitive card.
Bendigo Race 1
#4 The Superintendent
Looks another smart type who has been purchased after impressing during his New Zealand trials.
The three-year-old gelding has joined the Lindsey Park team under the guidance of Ben & J D Hayes and looks to have his fair share of ability.
His most recent Flemington jump out he showed good zip when and a nice action when having a sighter over 800 metres.
Liked his stride and style after the finish as well which suggests when the plugs are pulled over 1100 metres on debut, he will have no dramas finding the line without tiring too much.
Suggested Bet: The Superintendent win at $4.2
Suggested Exotic: Quinella 4 & 11
Bendigo Race 3
#2 Extreme Emotion
There were plenty of excuses for Extreme Emotion on debut when she finished third as very well backed favourite at this track over 1100 metres.
She seemed to really resent being clammed away inside of runners and never let down with the sprint and dash she showed in her jump outs leading in.
The wider will likely suit her much better here with Jake Noonan having the option to let this filly stride out and be comfortable rather than being held up.
Do not mind the rise to 1300 metres against slower horses as it means she can probably find the lead easily.
Expecting a big elevation on what she did a fortnight ago.
Suggested Bet: Extreme Emotion win at $3.10
Bendigo race 6
#9 Ruby Street
Ruby Street was given a half questionable ride last start when finishing fourth in BM-78 at Bendigo over 1400 metres a fortnight ago.
A massive gap appeared up on the rails, but she was only driven towards it very late in the race and the bird has already sailed.
Think with a more proactive ride and full momentum in the home straight, she can give this race an almighty shake.
She has a nice late finishing burst than can defeat this field should she be close enough at the 300-metre mark.
Suggested Bet: Ruby Street each-way at $5 the win and $1.95 the place.
Suggested Exotic: Boxed Trifecta – 2, 7, 9, 10
bendigo Race 7
#9 lindelani
Lindelani made the rise to BM-70 grade last start but was beaten out of sight as a $41 shot.
The drop down to BM-64 grade is much more suitable for him against less competitive and talented opposition as well as a barrier that will not see him posted wide or too far back in the run.
Campbell Rawiller is usually a very positive rider like his father Nash, so he should be able to find a spot in the run just better than midfield with some cover.
Good each-way bet at the double-figure odds.
Suggested Bet: Lindelani each-way at $10 the win and $3.2 the place.
