NBA Pre Season Tips & Previews, Wednesday 13th October

The NBA Pre Season is in full swing as the BetDeluxe team goes through the best bets headlined by the Lakers meeting the Warriors.

As always with the NBA Pre Season, it has been a mixed bag of results with a host of youngsters and rookies getting their first crack at the big time as well as star players being rested.

We try and find the best bets in games between the Lakers and Warriors as well as the Wizards versus the Raptors.

Toronto @ Washington

October 13th 10:00am

Washington plays host to Toronto at Capital One Arena when the pair meet for an NBA Pre Season fixture.

The Wizards are yet to win a game through their two matches, while the Raptors sit with a 2-2 record after four fixtures.

Washington still has plenty of upside with Spencer Dinwiddie looking to make an impact after signing as a free agent.

The former Brooklyn Nets player has looked solid in his return from a partial ACL tear.

The Raptors, meanwhile, rotated 16 players throughout a 107-92 win over the rebuilding Houston Rockets.

With this being the Raptors final pre-season game, Nick Nurse is likely to rest a handful of veterans in preparation for the regular NBA season.

The Wizard still have three games, including this, until it ends pre-season.

Expecting Wes Unseld to let Bradley Beal off the leash as they prepare to hit the season running.

Suggested Bet: Washington Wizards -6.5 at $1.96

Golden State @ LA Lakers

October 13th 1:30pm

Los Angeles Lakers heads into its fifth game of the pre-season when it faces the Golden State Warriors at the Staples Centre.

It has been a very breezy approach to the lead into the regular season for the Lakers having lost all four of their pre-season games.

But this match-up against a fellow marquee opponent should spark up some of the life inside of the Lakers squad.

The ledger for the Warriors pre-season has been in complete contrast to the Lakers.

A 3-0 record, which already includes a 121-114 win over the Lakers already, has the Warriors to take some winning momentum into season 2021/22.

Lakers fans have already been sent into a spin with Russell Westbrook the subject of heavy criticism after a heap of turnovers in his first few games as a Laker.

He will be keen to put his best foot forward here.

Anthony Davis has looked good in the limited preseason minutes he has received so far, while LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony are taking it easy.

Stephen Curry is expected to line-up for the Warriors, while Klay Thompson will remain on the sidelines as he recovers from a torn Achilles.

Suggested Bet: LA Lakers -4.5 at $1.91
