The Derby and Oaks Trials get underway at headquarters.
The Wizard of Odds is all hands on deck for the best bets at Flemington ahead of mid-week racing.

She debuted in fine style at Warrnambool to give part-owner and ‘Inside the Barriers’ very own Bryan Martin his first-ever winner at the Warrnambool carnival.
The Leon & Troy Corstens-trained filly was then put away from a spell with an eye towards the spring and she comes into this race with the sole jump out over 800 metre at Flemington.
She looked to travel comfortably in the running of her jump out and was barely asked for an effort in what was clearly a run to open up her pipes.
Doubt the 61kgs will phase her too much given this is only a dash up the straight.
She trained at the track and will be well aware of her surroundings which will put her at ease and allow her to conserve her nervous energy for the race.
Damien Oliver, who rode her to her maiden victory, hops aboard here and she is going to might hard to defeat.

Flemington Race 2
#1 Contemporary
Contemporary is a beautifully bred son of Exceed and Excel.
The two-year-old colt looks ready to explode on to the racing scene after a very nice jump out up the straight of 800 metres.
He seemed to travel on the speed effortlessly and he ended running nearly 48.01 up the straight which is nice for any horse.
The straight racing can bring a lot of those juveniles undone, especially without the assistance of the rail allowing them to run straight.
This colt looks a very smart individual and could have easily put lengths on his rivals in the jump out.

Flemington Race 5
#3 Tiz My Bay
Tiz My Bay is building towards a career peaking run when she goes around at Flemington over 1800 metres in this Oaks trial.
The Robbie Griffiths and Mathew De Kock-trained three-year-old filly was brave in defeat at Mornington when having to cope with the rise in distance from 1100 metres to 1500 metres.
She did a fantastic to job to run third and that run is going to have her fitness elevated to a career high level.
Interesting to note that she is the only horse in this race that is VOBIS Gold qualified, which is an added incentive for the stable to have her chiming into this event.
This has clearly been her target race on the way to the Oaks and her jockey Brett Prebble is riding like a man possessed at the moment.
She should get the ideal midfield run with cover where she can blend into the race, peel three deep with a back to follow into straight and then let down with her run.
Suggested Bet: Tiz My Bay each-way at $12 the win and $3 the place.

#8 Inverell
He could potentially be the Derby winner.
After a very soft Sale win over 1400 metres a month ago, the OTI-owned and Clayon Douglas-trained three-year-old gelding is ready to take the step to city grade.
His breeding suggests the 1800 metres is going to suit him perfectly with his sire being Melbourne Cup winning horse Shocking.
The further he goes up in distance the better he is likely to perform and his big loping stride would suggest that as well.
He has since had a trial in between runs at Cranbourne over 1590 metres and it was super impressive as he jumped clearly, chased a tearaway leader and went through the line under a tight grip.
Barrier eight should prove no issues from him and he looks a great bet in this race.
