Will Green Bay bounce back?

New York Giants @ Washington

17th september 10:20am

The Washington National Football team welcomes the New York Giants to Maryland to open up week two of the NFL season.

These NFC East rivals come into the game having suffered loses in their opening games and will attempt to atone for the slow start to the season.

The Giants actually started quite brightly against Denver and looked to be a winning hope until the second half began.

They were unable to answer the calls for help and ended up being stifled by the Broncos to go down 27-13, while Washington also copped a home defeat after being downed by the Chargers 20-16.

Not a lot went right for Washington in the four-point loss as it struggled to nail first downs on offence after losing starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.

But we can take great confidence in the defensive strength of the Football Team as it clamped down tightly despite the huge territory discrepancy conceded on opposition drives.

Suggested Bet: Washington -3.5 at $1.96

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Washington -3.5
Leg 2: T. Heinicke 1+ passing TD
Leg 3: Total points under 40.5
Combined odds = $4.75

Kansas City @ Baltimore

20th september 10:20am

Last year’s NFL Super Bowl runner-up Kansas City will seek to make it 2-0 to start the year when it travels to Baltimore to face the Ravens.

Since Andy Reid took over the Chiefs in 2013, the Ravens are yet to manufacture a win against him and his squad on the four occasions they have met.

A game on the road in Baltimore is a tough ask for any team this season, but without Matt Judon and Yannick Ngakoue there have to be serious question marks on whether this Ravens team can handle the brilliant offence of Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs.

Lamar Jackson will try his heart out to match with Mahomes, but the gap between these two teams is just too much.

Chiefs had their pipe-opener against Cleveland last week and will be better for the outing.

Suggested Bet: Kansas City Chiefs -3.5 at $1.91

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Kansas City Chiefs -3.5
Leg 2: Total points over 55.5
Combined odds = $3.40

Detroit @ Green bay

21st September 10:15am

After a shock loss in week one the Green Bay Packers are looking to bounce back quickly when they face the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field for Monday night primetime NFL.

It may have just been a case of ‘blip on the radar’ for the Packers rather than a complete season-ending capitulation following a 38-3 loss to New Orleans Saints.

The rumours and uncertainty around Aaron Rodgers’ career in the off season surely would not have helped preparation coming into the season opener, but it is hard to take $1.18 about a team who performed as badly as the Packers did last week.

Rodgers looked a shell of the player who won the NFL MVP last season as he threw for only 133 yards and two intercepts.

A game against the Lions might just be the tonic the Packers need to bounce back into winning ways.

The Lions are not really fancied by anyone to make a meaningful impact on the season, but did show some signs of improvement in their loss against San Francisco.

Rodgers and the Packers have too much at stake and too many credits in the bank to suggest week one is what we are in for this year.

Suggested Bet: Green Bay Packers -11.5 at $1.90
