She has ripped through her opponents in the first two rounds and poses a genuine threat to Halep who, like her opponent, is yet t0 drop a set at Flushing Meadows.
Both ladies have played each other once with Rybakina winning the first contest by forfeit and Halep taking out the most recent clash back in Dubai last year with a three-set win.

Ash Barty vs. Shelby Rogers

Barty has been in scintillating form of late following up her Cincinnati Masters triumph with two dominant performances to begin her quest for US Open glory.
Her opponent is an unseeded 29-year-old who produced an upset victory in the second round defeating Sorana Cirstea in straight sets.
