Within The Law is ready to win. The Lucky Vega filly was good in a hot form race at her latest outing, and I suspect she would have finished closer if her run came earlier. The sharp drop in class is advantageous, and the current track conditions play into her favour. The flood of early money tells a story, and the camp are in rare air. The time spent out of the winners’ enclosure is the primary concern.
Cellarmaster is racing well at present. The Bivouac gelding has been thereabouts all campaign, and he finds a winnable assignment on Saturday. He is extremely well weighted for this event, and his form in the wet must be respected. Major threat!

Thebudgiesmugla was a dominant winner of the Listed Winter Cup at his latest outing. The Redwood gelding toyed with his opposition, and I suspect he is cherry ripe for a tilt at the Caloundra Cup on Saturday. The talented five-year-old has a genuine chance to record back-to-back victories, and the key booking of Dylan Gibbons could prove decisive. His record on the heavy is near perfect, and his opening quote has been more than nibbled at. The carpark draw is his biggest obstacle.
Pounding is ready to win! The Exceed And Excel gelding has finished on the heels of the winners all preparation, and he simply doesn’t know how to run poorly. The inside draw is more than ideal, and he has been well supported early doors. He tends to find one or two better at the pointy end of a contest.

Gerringong has been superb this campaign. The Blue Point mare has envious form, and she was only beaten in the shadows at the top level at her latest outing. She looks good value on the quick turnaround, and an inside draw should give her an incredible leg-up. She will look the winner as they cut the ribbons.
Cifrado is one for multiples and wider exotics. The Encryption gelding has been racing against some quality opposition, and his first-up victory was outstanding. His record at the distance must be respected, and I suspect this event has been the long-range target from the inform camp. Jumping from a different stratosphere is the biggest deterrent.

Silver Wedding was good without winning at her latest outing. The Zoustar mare got too far out of her ground, and she gets her chance to atone on Saturday. She is a winner previously third-up from a spell, and a victory here wouldn’t surprise. She has been smashed in most all-in markets, and the Ciaron Maher yard have a great ability of placing their horses to perfection. Hard to toss!
Bengal Diamond will have supporters after producing a consistent campaign to date. The Flying Artie mare oozes class, and she had genuine excuses at her latest outing. I expect her to bounce back on Saturday, and I suspect the camp are praying for a change in fortune. Her racing pattern and style always requires an element of good fortune.

#3 Al Duca
Al Duca is racing well at present. The Al Maher gelding caught the eyes of punters at her latest outing, and she looks extremely well placed in this event. She loves than Bart Cummings and Makybediva, and the inisde draw puts one hoof on the till. The key booking of Craig Williams is advantageous, and she looks one of the better bets on a tough and competitive program. Yes please!
Jimmy The Bear is the class runner of the field. The big boy is always thereabouts, and he is simply too consistent to pot. He grows an extra leg at headquarters, and I suspect this is his main assignment for his current campaign. Dismiss at your own peril!

Chains Of Love was a brilliant last-start winner at Randwick. The I Am Invincible filly looks progressive, and she deserves her shot at this level on Saturday. The early money tells a story, and the inside draw puts her into all winning conversations. The stable must be respected, and I suspect it will pay dividends to follow her moving forward. Hard to toss!
Afterberna is flying! The Cosmic Force filly is winning for fun at present, and the talented three-year-old gets her chance to earn black-type here. She is ready for the step up in grade, and the Ciaron Maher polish must be respected. Her double-figure quote has folded quicker than Superman on laundry day, and I suspect she will jump one of the favourites. Progressive!
