The Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara headlines Eagle Farm, with the W J McKell Cup at Rosehill and a tricky winter card at Caulfield.

The Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara headlines a competitive program at Eagle Farm. In old Sydney town, the W J McKell Cup is the feature event at Rosehill Gardens, while south of the border Caulfield host a competitive and tricky winter program.

Eagle Farm Race 7

#2 Sun God

Sun God is airborne at present. Both runs this campaign have been first-class, and the Fastnet Rock gelding looks a moral in this event. The flood of early money tells a story, and the inside draw puts him into all winning conversations. Chris Waller has a fantastic record in this event, and the appointed jockey is arguably in career-best form. He will take some catching!

War Eternal is building a picket fence. The Pierro gelding is chasing four consecutive victories, and the early market support indicates he is there to win again. The inside gate will ensure a cosy trip throughout, and his versatility alone puts him into all winning calculations. The step up in class is the primary concern.

Suggested Bet: Sun God @ $2.30

Eagle Farm Race 8

#17 Within The Law

Within The Law is ready to capture Group 1 glory on Saturday. The Lucky Vega filly has been flying all campaign, and she looks extremely well placed in the time-honoured event. The drop in trip could prove a training masterstroke, and the Tommy Berry factor is hard to ignore. Her exposed form is elite, and she has been smashed in most all-in markets. Yes please!

Splash Back will jump with an army of supporters on her back after producing a solid campaign to date. The Le Havre mare has raced against the best, and her recent performances have turned heads. The big girl has been hitting the line late from different suburbs, and I suspect this event has been the radar for a long time. She can win with even luck in transit.

Suggested Bet: Within The Law @ $8.00

#5 Brudenell

Brudenell is ready to win! The Russian Revolution gelding has been solid all campaign, and he finds a suitable assignment on Saturday. The classy galloper has residual fitness through the roof after a lengthy campaign, and I suspect this is his main target for the preparation. Dismiss at your own peril!

Yellow Brick represents great each way value. The Mission gelding has raced at the top level, and he looks extremely well placed dropping down sharply in class. The inside draw could prove fruitful, and his record at the journey must be noted. The grandstand weight is the biggest detterent.

Suggested Bet: Brundenell @ $12.00

Rosehill Gardens Race 8

#4 God's Window

God’s Window is racing in great order. The Dubawi gelding hasn’t missed the top four all campaign, and his victory two starts back was first-class. He possesses a significant turn of foot, and his recent finishing sectionals broke all on-course clocks.  The 55kg is luxurious, and the Chris Waller polish will play a role. Hard to toss!

Know Thyself is poised to strike. Both runs this campaign have put the writing on the wall for a third-up peak performance. The wet weather in old Sydney town suits the big boy to a tee, and he has been heavily supported early doors. The middle gate provides multiple options throughout, and the camp are flying. Can figure!

Suggested Bet: God’s Window @ $2.60

Rosehill Gardens Race 9

#14 Sanctified

Sanctified is flying at present. The Super Seth gelding hasn’t missed a top-three finish since the moon landing, and he looks more than capable of scoring at this level. His pilot is riding winners for fun at present, and a victory here would be great reward for effort. His opening quote has folded faster than superman on laundry day, and he represent great each way value.

Snack Bar is ready to peak. All roads lead to a third-up tilt, and the flood of early money indicates a bold and forward showing. The inside draw is advantageous, and the Bjorn Baker camp are unstoppable at present. His recent winning record is the primary concern.

Suggested Bet: Sanctified @ $6.00

Caulfield Race 8

#7 Big Swinger

Big Swinger will jump your race favourite after a solid campaign. The talented four-year-old has arguably the best exposed form, and I suspect he has the fitness edge on his rivals after a lengthy and fruitful campaign. The Heath suits his racing pattern and style, and he is simply great for racing. He finds a winnable assignment, and he will be savaging the line late!

Fancify will have plenty of supporters after producing two honest performances for the current preparation. The Niagara mare is ready to explode, and she finds her ideal conditions on Saturday. The Ciaron Maher factor must be respected, and her versatility alone puts her into winning calculations. The carpark draw is the biggest detterent.

Suggested Bet: Big Swinger @ $3.60
