Kensington Race 6

#4 Seascape

Seascape is racing extremely well at present. The I Am Invincible filly finds another suitable assignment and looks very progressive. The inside draw should allow her to sit more forward than usual in-transit, and if she can still show her customary turn of foot late, I expect her to figure in the finish. She may need some luck getting off the dulex as they sprint for home.

Time Bandit is ready to win. The Star Turn mare savaged the line at her latest outing, and she traditionally performs well at this stage of her campaign. The step-out trip is advantageous, and she has been well-supported since markets opened. Watch for her late!

Star Act caught the eyes late, fresh at Warwick Farm. The Snitzel mare put the writing on the wall for a successful and fruitful spring campaign, and she looks well placed in this company. From barrier one, she drifts back and watches the race unfold, and if she is presented with her run at the right time, she can make her presence feel late. In the mix.

Suggested Bet: Seascape @ $4.50

Kensington RACE 7

#5 Hello World

Hello World is ready to win. The Written Tycoon gelding was good, fresh without threatening, and his second-up performance was super honest in a strong-form race at Sandown. The drop in grade is advantageous, and I suspect he will pilot the field from a perfect inside draw. The 1300m looks ideal third-up from a spell, and I expect he is ready to produce a peak performance for the campaign. Hard to toss.

Spanish Fox is flying. The Toronado gelding is chasing a hat trick of victories, and I suspect he has the fitness edge over the majority of his rivals. Barrier one puts him into all winning conversations, and his record at the distance must be respected. The class rise is the primary concern.

Komodo Dragon was an impressive last-start winner at Kembla Grange. The key appointment of James McDonald should give his supporters extra confidence, and he deserves his chance at this level on Wednesday. The Hellbent gelding will drift back and find his hooves, and if he doesn’t get too far out of his ground during the race’s early stages, he can figure in the finish.

Suggested Bet: Hello World @ $5.00

Sale Race 5

#6 Mornington Pier

Mornington Pier is knocking on the door. Both runs this preparation have been good without winning, and I suspect he is ready to explode third-up from a spell on Wednesday. The step out in trip is advantageous, and he is ideally drawn in barrier four. His stable are training winners for fun at present, and the inform Ben Allen has a good relationship with the Pierro gelding. Hard to toss!

Freight Train is a model of consistency. The handy galloper was beaten by a smart one at his latest outing, and he looks well-placed in this company. The apprentice claim puts one hoof on the till, and the longer journey plays into his favour. Too consistent to pot.

Opening Address was a dominant winner, second-up at Wodonga. The So You Think gelding put his rivals to the sword a long way from home, and I suspect the 1740m trip will be much to his liking. The sharp class rise and awkward draw are among the primary concerns.

Suggested Bet: Mornington Pier @ $6.00

Sale Race 7

#1 Martial Music

Martial Music has one hoof on the till dropping back to country level. The Your Song gelding was fresh at Sandown, and this looks a winnable assignment. His record at the trip is sensational, and his best form reads incredibly well for this Benchmark 64 event. The 62kg and carpark draw are his biggest obstacles to overcome.

Core Concept was a solid last-start winner at Bendigo. The Brazen Beau gelding will appreciate the 3kg apprentice claim, and he looks the likely leader on paper. He meets similar opposition to his first-up heroics, and his record at the journey is near perfect. Jumping from another suburb may determine his fate during the first furlong.

Don’t Russia showed promise in her return to racing. The Russian Revolution filly will strip fitter after her recent outing, and she has been specked at a price since acceptances. Craig Williams will push forward from the wide draw, and if the enigmatic three-year-old finds the bunny uncontested, she will look the winner as they run for the doctor. Take on trust.

Suggested Bet: Martial Music @ $2.00
