The Chiefs, Cowboys, Eagles, Broncos – what a weekend of NFL that lies ahead.
BetDeluxe breaks down three of the most important match-ups and delivers a suite of best bets.
Chargers vs. Broncos
11th December 8:25am
The LA Chargers will receive the opportunity to draw level with Denver on six wins in the AFC West when they host the Broncos in the City of Angels.
Currently sitting third with a 5-7 record, the $1.68 Chargers boast better numbers in both the points for and against columns but will need to overcome a poor run of form that has resulted in three losses from their past four games.
Their only win came against the embattled Patriots, where neither side scored a touchdown, and the Chargers scraped through with two field goals.
As for the Broncos, they were on a five-game winning streak before their 22-17 loss to the Texans on Monday, with victories against the Chiefs, Bills and Browns highlighting their ability to take down the top dogs. Russell Wilson will need to bounce back from his three interceptions, but the current market presents great value for those on the Denver bandwagon.
Suggested Bet: Denver (+2.5) @ $1.95
Chiefs vs. Bills
11th December 8:25am
Two pre-season Super Bowl fancies will meet at Arrowhead Stadium, with the reigning champions only $1.81 in the market following three losses from their past five games.
There’s been a lot spoken about the Chiefs (8-4) this season after starting the year 6-1 and seemingly losing their way over the past month. They hit a new low following their 27-19 loss to the Packers as Jordan Love did what he liked with three TDs from 25/36 and 267y. Patrick Mahomes has managed just three TDs in the current stretch of losses and will need to recapture some of his MVP-winning form to turn their season around.
The Bills will undoubtedly present a problem for the Chiefs’ defense after scoring 66 points in their past two games, including a 37-34 loss to the Eagles. Josh Allen has found his range with five TDs in two weeks and currently trails only Dak Prescott (26) with 24 for the season.
Despite their poor run of form, a 4-2 record at home should be enough to inspire the Chiefs in this one. But it’ll be close.
Suggested Bet: Chiefs to win @ $1.81
Cowboys vs. Eagles
11th December 8:25am
Can the Eagles slow down the all-conquering Cowboys?
After defeating Dallas in Philly just over a month ago, the Eagles have watched as the Cowboys have been crunched into $9.50 in Super Bowl betting following four dominant victories in four weeks.
Dak Prescott is playing like a man possessed with 13 TDs against the Giants, Panthers, Commanders, and Seahawks, taking him to outright leader with 26. While some will argue they haven’t beaten much during that run, they also took care of the Rams and Chargers before going down to the Eagles by just five points.
Philadelphia has done very little wrong with a 10-2 record at the top of the NFC East, but they’ll need to recover from their 19-42 thumping at the hands of the 49ers last week. Brock Purdy made light work of the defense with four TDs, making this match-up with a red-hot Prescott even more enticing.
The Eagles might still be $5.50 for the Super Bowl, but we can’t go against the Cowboys at home.
Suggested Bet: D. Prescott anytime touchdown @ $2.10
