The cream of the crop is taking to the court in a jam-packed slate of NBA this Friday. BetDeluxe profiles all four games.
Wizards vs. Raptors
3rd March 11:00am
NBA Friday kicks off with a crucial clash between the Wizards and Raptors as both teams vie for a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The Wizards ended a two-game losing streak with a three-point victory over the Hawks. Bradley Beal caught fire in the absence of Kristaps Porzingis, dropping 37 points and seven assists alongside Kyle Kuzma’s 28.
On the other hand, the Raptors have been on fire for a while now and secured their eighth win from 10 games when they defeated the Bulls 104-98. Pascal Siakam led the charge once again for the ninth-placed Raptors with 20 points. He averages 25.2ppg and 7.7apg.
It was an essential win by the Wizards, but the Raptors are the form side and should prove too strong in this one.
Suggested Bet: Raptors to win @ $1.88
Mavericks vs. 76ers
3rd March 11:30AM
The Dallas Mavericks will be hoping to end a disappointing run of five losses from their past six games when they host the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Mavs haven’t quite clicked since acquiring Kyrie Irving over the trade deadline, most recently going down to the Pacers 122-124. Luka Doncic had a day out with 39 points, eight rebounds and six assists, but he’s still trying to gel with Irving as the two stars slump to a 1-4 record together.
The 76ers put two straight losses behind them with a dominant 23-point win over the Heat on Thursday. More impressively, they did it without the star big man, Joel Embiid, who missed due to foot soreness. Tyrese Maxey (27) and James Harden (23) helped carry the load offensively, with 50 between them as the 76ers put the result to bed with a 37-15 second term.
Suggested Bet: 76ers +3.5 @ $1.84
Spurs vs. Pacers
3rd March 12:30PM
It was party time for San Antonio on Wednesday after they snapped a 16-game losing streak with an impressive 94-102 win in Utah. Trailing by two points at 3QT, the Spurs dominated the last with 31-21.
San Antonio’s leading scorer, Keldon Johnson, led the way with 25 points among a host of teammates to drop 12 or more.
Equally, it was also a celebration in Indiana as they held out the Mavericks for their third win in four games, 124-122. Tyrese Haliburton responded to Luka’s incredible performance with one of his own, recording 32 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Myles Turner continued his hot form with 24 points of his own.
The Pacers are in form in the East and should ensure a short-lived celebration for the Spurs.
Suggested Bet: Pacers to win @ $1.60
Warriors vs. Clippers
3rd March 2:00PM
The day’s final game is arguably the most intriguing as two legitimate playoff hopes go head-to-head in Golden State.
The Warriors have hit form over the last week, with three consecutive wins launching them into the fifth spot in the West. Their most recent outing was their most impressive, as they produced a 44-point turnaround against Portland. Trailing by 23 points during the second term, the Warriors ignited off the back of 29 from Jordan Poole and ran out 21-point winners.
Draymond Green returned from a two-game absence, but they still missed Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins.
Alternatively, the Clippers have lost three in a row following their 101-108 loss to the Timberwolves. The big guns all had their moments, with Paul George dropping 25 points alongside Kawhi’s 23, while Russell Westbrook was three rebounds short of a triple-double.
The Clippers are still trying to figure things out with Westbrook, who arrived when their losing streak began. Because of this, the Warriors present good value in the current market.
Suggested Bet: Warriors to win @ $2.15
