The cream of the crop is taking to the court in a jam-packed slate of NBA this Tuesday. BetDeluxe profiles all four games.
Hornets vs. Pistons
28th February 11:00am
The Charlotte Hornets will enter their match-up with the Pistons with an air of confidence after they defeated Miami 108-103 on Sunday.
The Hornets had six players score 14 or more points, with LaMelo Ball dropping a team-high 19 despite shooting 6-22. Although the 14th in the East, the Hornets are now on a four-game winning streak.
The Pistons, on the other hand, are in far worse shape than the Hornets, with their four-point loss to the Raptors making it seven losses out of their last eight games. Marvin Bagley III was the only Piston to record over 11 points, leading the charge with 21 and 18 rebounds.
Bojan Bogdanovic is the only Piston to average more than 20ppg, and their lack of options should mean a fifth-straight win for the Hornets.
Suggested Bet: Hornets (-6.5) @ $1.88
76ers vs. Heat
28th February 11:00AM
The 76ers will be looking to quickly bounce back into the winner’s stall after falling to the Celtics 107-110 on Sunday.
Joel Embiid kept applying the pressure to the MVP leaderboard with another standout game of 41 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. His 33.1ppg is second to only Luka, and the gap is closing.
The Heat will be tasked with slowing down the Embiid train after they went down to the Hornets by five points. Tyler Herro led the way with 33 points as their newest recruit, Kevin Love, continued to find his feet in a new system.
The five-time All-Star has shot 0 and 13 in his first two games for the Heat after recently being traded from Cleveland.
Suggested Bet: 76ers to win @ $1.38
Knicks vs. Celtics
28th February 11:30PM
The old-school rivalry between the east coast juggernauts adds another chapter when they meet at Madison Square Garden.
The home side are flying with five consecutive wins, including a 128-106 demolition of the Pelicans on Sunday. Julius Randle continued his elite form with 28 points, seven boards and five assists, taking his season average to 25.1ppg.
One of the only teams who could stop the rampaging Knicks is the ladder-leading Celtics after they fended off the 76ers 107-110. Jaylen Brown was outstanding with 26 points, while Jayson Tatum had another impressive outing with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
The Celtics are getting some real pressure from the Bucks to maintain the top spot, and they’ll have something to prove in this one.
Suggested Bet: Celtics to win @ $1.70
Pelicans vs. Magic
28th February 12:00PM
The Pelicans will need to shake off their disappointing performance against the Knicks after going down by 22 points.
It wasn’t through a lack of shots from the Pelicans, as they threw up 102-88 but only made 39% of them. Brandon Ingram was their highest scorer with 19.
The Magic haven’t been any better in the East, however, after giving up 70 points in the second half against the Pacers and going down 108-121. Paolo Banchero dropped 19 points as he firms to $1.07 to take out the Rookie of the Year Award.
With a lot more to play for at this time of the year, expect the Pelicans to bounce back.
Suggested Bet: Pelicans (-4) @ $1.89
