Pinjarra Race 6

#4 Valsassina

Valsassina looks a promising type. She punched above her weight last start at the Listed level, and she looks well placed here from an inside draw. The drop back to 1200m is advantageous, and the Choisir filly is building an impressive career record. With even luck, I expect her to be fighting out the finish.

Supersession has made an impressive start to his career. The Sessions gelding put his rivals to the sword last start, and he can continue on his winning ways with the right run in transit. The massive jump in grades is the primary concern.

The talented I’m Eugene can win here if he reproduces his best form. Unfortunately, he mixes his form and seems hesitant of the winning post.

Suggested Bet: Valsassina @ $3.00

Pinjarra RACE 7

#9 Malkar Pindari

Malkar Pindari has been absolutely crunched since markets opened up. She has been racing well without winning and will get her chance on Saturday to break through from the perfect draw. With the Wizard aboard, I expect the money to continue for the Gingerbread Man filly.

Street Parade looks the obvious danger after a successful preparation. If he can find the front in the early stages, he may prove hard to run down. He is rock hard fit, and he has a lovely turn of foot. His lengthy campaign is the primary concern.

Man Crush will be thereabouts despite drawing in the carpark. The Manhattan Rain gelding is racing well without winning, and with even luck, I expect him to make his presence felt on Saturday.

Suggested Bet: Malkar Pindari  @ $3.80

Pinjarra Race 8

#2 Odinaka

Odinaka won impressively last start. He deserves his chance at this level, and he will get every opportunity to make it two wins on the trot from an inside draw. He was stiff on debut and looks to have a bright future. I expect him to go through his grades successfully in the coming months.

A Lot Of Good Men will start favourite after two dominant wins this preparation. He looks well-placed in this grade and can continue his winning ways on Saturday. The primary concerns are being untested at the distance and the wide barrier draw.

Champagne Street can play a role here despite being drawn off the track. She was great on debut, and she should strip fitter here. The Street Boss filly looks to have a bright future, and I expect her to have plenty of market support.

Suggested Bet: Odinaka @ $6.00

Pinjarra Race 9

#5 Be Optimistic

Be Optimistic can run well here at a reasonable price. The apprentice claim is advantageous, and her win was breathtaking last start at Ascot. If she can repeat her devastating turn of foot, I expect her to have the last crack at them on Saturday.

Westriver Miracle will be well-supported in the market despite needing to carry the grandstand. The All-American gelding has been luckless this campaign, and he is starting to become expensive to follow for favourite punters. With even luck, Saturday could be his day! He does look well placed back in this grade.

Arcadia Grace flew from the clouds to snatch victory in the final stride at her latest outing. She is drawn ideally in barrier one and will have plenty of supporters with William Pike aboard.

Suggested Bet: Be Optimistic @ $6.50
