The cream of the crop is taking to the court in a jam-packed slate of NBA this Friday. BetDeluxe profiles all three games.
Bulls vs. Bucks
17th February 11:30am
The Chicago Bulls will have the most challenging task in the NBA as they try to curtail the red-hot form of the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks are the form side in the Eastern Conference, taking their current winning streak to 11 after defeating the Boston Celtics 131-125 in the top-of-the-table clash on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo was unstoppable yet again with 36 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists, while Jrue Holiday shot the lights out with 40 and seven assists.
The Bucks are now just .5 games behind the Celtics in the East. Throughout their 11-game run, they have defeated the Celtics, Nuggets and Clippers.
After taking on Indiana, the Bulls will enter this game on the 24-hour backup. They had lost four consecutive games in the lead-up to their match with the Pacers as DeMar DeRozan attempts to find form while playing through injury. He’s shot 14, 16 and 19 since returning from a one-game absence.
Suggested Bet: Bucks to win @ $1.32
Timberwolves vs. Wizards
17th February 12:00AM
The Timberwolves maintained their position in the Western Conference playoff bracket (8th) with a hard-fought 121-124 victory over the Mavericks on Tuesday.
Despite a combined 69 points from Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, the Wolves shared the love, with Anthony Edwards leading the charge with 32 points. Rudy Gobert was at his defensive best with 21 points and 14 boards while dishing out nine assists in just his second game since being traded from the Jazz.
The Wizards have found a nice run of form after securing their third win in four games with a dominant 25-point triumph over Portland. Leading by nine at half-time, the Wizards put the game to bed with a 38-22 third term.
Kristaps Porzingis proved a tough match-up for opposition teams and finished with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Kyle Kuzma top-scored with 33. While their form is impressive, the Wolves should have too much firepower.
Suggested Bet: Timberwolves (-3.5) @ $1.91
Suns vs. Clippers
17th February 2:00PM
In a battle of 4th vs 5th in the West, the Phoenix Suns will look to make it 12 wins from their past 15 games in their match-up with the Clippers.
They are hot to trot after their latest outing produced a 120-109 victory over Sacramento. The big guns all fired for the Suns, with Devin Booker dropping 32 points, Chris Paul dishing out a season-high 19 assists, and Deandre Ayton scoring 29 and 11 boards. It was Booker’s biggest contribution since returning from injury.
As for the Clippers, they proved too strong for the Warriors on the back of a 44-point third quarter. Kawhi lost no touch from his one-game break, returning to the floor with 33 points and seven three-pointers. The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Clippers as they try to hunt down the Suns in the fourth spot.
Suggested Bet: Suns to win @ $1.83
