The cream of the crop is taking to the court in a jam-packed slate of NBA this Saturday. BetDeluxe profiles four big games.
Pacers vs. Kings
4th February 11:00am
Since losing their first four games of the season, the Sacramento Kings have been on a roll with 29-17 and sit third in the Western Conference.
They were too strong for the embattled Spurs on Thursday, running out 119-109 winners on the back of 34 points and 11 rebounds from Domantas Sabonis and 31 points and 10 assists from De’Aaron Fox.
Sabonis has been a standout in the Kings’ hot run of form. He averages 18.5ppg and leads the Kings with 12.4rpg and 7.1apg.
They’ll enter this match as firm favourites as the Pacers set themselves for the 24-hour backup. After Friday’s clash against the Lakers, the Pacers have lost four games in a row.
Suggested Bet: Sacramento Win @ $1.68
Celtics vs. Suns
4th February 11:30AM
Can anyone stop the Celtics? The Green is on a tear this season and currently sits atop the East with a 37-15 record.
They stamped their authority all over the league on Thursday with a dominant 139-96 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. The game was over at quarter-time after Jayson Tatum scored 18 and six rebounds as the Celtics took a 46-16 lead.
With all this talk about the MVP coming down to Jokic and Embiid, Tatum has quietly gone about his business with four consecutive games of 30+ points and an average of 12 boards in that time.
It will be a tough ask for a Phoenix side coming off a 132-100 loss against the Hawks. While Chris Paul has returned to the court in solid form, he was ineffective against the Hawks, with just three points and three assists in 27 minutes.
Suggested Bet: Boston -9.5 @ $1.90
Timberwolves vs. Magic
4th February 12PM
The Timberwolves are another team making a solid play for the postseason with six wins from their past eight.
Their latest against the Warriors was arguably their most impressive as they toughed it out in OT for a 119-114 win. D’Angelo Russell top-scored for the victors with 29, while Anthony Edwards continued his outstanding form with 27 points, six rebounds and five assists. He has been hot to trot of late, averaging 33 points from his past seven.
The Magic were impressive in their back-to-back games against the 76ers and left with a 1-1 record. This will be another challenging night, but Paolo Banchero has been leading the way with 20.7ppg.
Suggested Bet: Minnesota Win @ $1.46
Jazz vs. Hawks
4th February 1PM
This bodes as an exciting match-up between two sides who are far from entrenched in playoff calculations.
The Jazz entered the positive side of the ledger at 27-26 when they defeated the Raptors 131-128 on Thursday.
Lauri Markkanen delivered another impressive performance with 28 points and 13 boards, while Walker Kessler dropped 17 points and 14 rebounds of his own.
The Hawks – who sit 8th in the East at 26-26 – will enter with a fistful of confidence after they destroyed the Suns 132-100.
Notably, five players scored 15+ points, including Dejounte Murray, who finished the night with 21 points, six rebounds and eight assists.
Suggested Bet: Utah Win @ $1.81
